With the passing of Winter Solstice 2009, I began pondering the bounty of experiences that I will be taking away from this incarnation. Whether you believe that your 3D existence will end on or around 12/21/12, that our lives will continue but qualitatively change on that date, or that we will continue to live "as normal" until our allotted time is up (either before or after that date), I think it is safe to say that we all believe that this is our last 3D incarnation on Planet Earth (at least for the foreseeable future).

As such, I wanted to initiate a thread that celebrates and remembers our favorite and most powerful experiences on this beautiful blue orb that we lovingly call home. So I ask all members:

    - What do you love most about 3D Earth?

    - What will you miss most about life here?

    - What is the greatest experience that you will bring from this life (or past lives on Earth, for those that may recall them) when all is distilled down to its experiential essence to be offered to the One Infinite Creator in some, far distant, future?

    - What lessons have you learned in this life? How did Gaia enhance or enable those lessons?

    - How will you thank Gaia for her gift of these experiences, when this brief candle of life is extinguished?

All thoughts and comments are welcomed.

    Love and waning 3D Light,

    3D Sunset

As a sometime backpacker, gardener, kayaker, hiker and traveler, I recall...a lake at the trailhead to the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming. Above the treeline, lichen mottling granite rock with dull brown, orange and red splotchey splotches. Flying over the deep, dark blue of the Mediterranean, and feeling what may have been an intuitive sense of much history, and of earth history’s interpenenetration with cosmic forces. Being swept along on swaying, splashy currents in a very small boat. Walking in a 70 yr old woods of maples, oaks, pine, ash and sycamore near my apartment.

    - What will you miss most about life here? My kids, and nature.

    - What is the greatest experience that you will bring from this life (or past lives on Earth, for those that may recall them) when all is distilled down to its experiential essence to be offered to the One Infinite Creator in some, far distant, future? The glory of my mother earth.

    - What lessons have you learned in this life? How did Gaia enhance or enable those lessons? Earth has been a great healer for me.

    - How will you thank Gaia for her gift of these experiences, when this brief candle of life is extinguished? Wow – great question.

    Thank you feibelal, wonderful thoughts.

To me, life in 3D is an interesting bridge between the gross physical and the more ethereal forms of existence. In addition to the opportunity for much stronger catalysts, this grounding in the physical provides us some amazingly intense experiences.

I recall a scene from a movie called Starman, back in the 80's (if you haven't seen it, do by the way). In the movie, Jeff Bridges plays a space alien who crash lands in a remote part of North America. He then takes on a human body as he tries to get to a rendezvous point to be rescued. There is a scene where he gets hungry and is told he needs to eat food. My favorite part is where he tries his first bite of apple pie a la mode. The look on his face is wonderful as the complexities and subtleties of the tastes and textures explode in his mouth.

There are so many foods that I love and I will miss. It may be worth starting another thread just to list them. Other experiences I look forward to reviewing after this life has played out:

    - The fascination and exhilaration of my first teen-aged crush, first kiss, first time to embrace and be embraced by the young woman who drew my interest. There are a thousand experiences related here, the excitement of just seeing the object of my desire, the awkward conversations, the scribbled notes, the feeling of all consuming passion for life and its mysteries, the amazing wonder at seeing the world through another person's eyes. The crushing pain of a break-up, the retrospective review of the same, the remembering and re-living scenes that could have been played differently. The missing, the despair, the healing.

    - The overwhelming high of seeing each of my children being born and greeting them into this world. The caring and nurturing of young minds and bodies, the worry when they are sick, the joy when the achieve, the concern when have troubles, the heartache when they are sad. The difficulty of standing by and letting them learn their own lessons in life.

    - The amazing adaptability of the 3D mind/body/spirit. Even being handicapped by the veil, the crude body form (and associated bodily functions and habits), the constant catalyst, the raging hormones, the distractions of existence, we still find ways to achieve our purposes and grow, and help others do the same.

I'll stop here for now, I could easily go on all day and I know how difficult it is to digest "a wall of text" as ayadew likes to call some of these posts.

I'd love to hear other's thoughts. What will you miss about 3D Earth?

    Love and Light,

    3D Sunset

    Great idea 3D Sunset

"a wall of text" is merely an expression of today's young at the Internet, but it's quite descriptive isn't it. I feel there's a great desire to communicate within you 3D Sunset, so please write your walls... they are always interesting, but it's my preferred way to be short and concise. (this is why you often see me edit posts BigSmile)

There's always something new to explore on our little ball in space while it's so small compared to the whole universe. It really gives you a premotion of the infinite wonders of the universe.

I will bring the experience of (likely) changing polarity from STS to STO. This may be rare, or it may be not. It's the most definite experience in my life though. Who knows really if I did, there was simply incredible selfishness and desire for power which transformed into allowance and compassion in just a year's time. Turning 180 degrees it was.

Hah, food is a weak point of mine too. Cooking for others, making it look nice, the smells and the wait, and the joy of other's faces when they eat. I want to continue to "cook" fantastic light to all of you in some higher existence Smile

My lessons have overall been subtle, small energy work. There may not be much karma/lessons left for me to do except those I've caught in this existence. There may be something big, scary looming ahead. I'm still young with much change, so who knows what I'll get myself into

I thank Gaia everyday, and when she transforms into Terra in her 4D state I want to continue to help her. Smile

Thank you for your wonderful thoughts, dear ayadew. Less is often more, as witnessed by so many of your pithy posts. Would that I had such an ability, but alas, it seems that my words become walls all too often.

Namaste and thank you again for sharing in advance what will be your future memories of Mother Earth,

    3D Sunset
