I've had the pleasure of working with the 3 Experience cards of the archetypal mind.

just to remind you, the Experience cards sit at position four of chain of processing.

the chain goes: matrix, potentiator, catalyst, experience, significator, transformation, great way

this 'experience' is the heart of 3d living; it is where we spend the majority of our time; the preceding cards (the catalyst) generate the possibility for experience, and the following cards (the significator) represent the core 'function(s)' of the mind/body/spirit complex. The 'experience' is where the 'event' happens and represents various understandings that we have in relation to new data.

    these cards are:

The Enchantress (experience of the body)
The Emperor (experience of the mind)
The Moon (experience of the spirit)

the last card, the moon, can best be illustrated by the following quote:

"80.10 Few there are which are successful in grasping the light of the sun. By far, the majority of adepts remain groping in the moonlight and, as we have said, this light can deceive as well as uncover hidden mystery."

this 'groping' around typifies to me what the experience cards are all about. It is dealing with uncertainties, making assessments of situations with incomplete data, guessing, pushing forward with trial and error, and, hopefully, an open mind.

the open-mind, though, is rarely the attitude that we have in regards to experience. We have been hurt before, learnt to shy away from certain experiences, and this clouded attitude distorts the raw experience we have into a narrative of weakness regards the self, and things are rarely seen for what they are; much like in a poorly-lit moonlight few things can be read, and much may be mistaken.

the Enchantress this is a favourite card I like to battle with; the Enchantress is exactly as she is; she puts a most deluding spell upon the self; if we may consider undistorted experience as a beam of magnetic particles, then on one side of this beam is a magnet of attraction, and on the other side is a magnet of avoidance. Most of the attitudes we have to physical experience (the Enchantress being the experience of the body) is bent either to attraction or to avoidance. Both represent a deviation from straight line experience (balanced, non-swayed response). Both attraction and avoidance can be seen as a Denial of Reality, or what is, and a desire to make it something more (attraction) or less (avoidance).

the Emperor is the experience of the mind. Imagine that you have a kingdom, and you are at the center of it. When you stand up from sitting, the whole empire stands up with you. When you decide to sit down from standing, the entire empire sits down simultaneously with you. Such is the power of thought.

the Moon the mind and the body are not alone on this journey. For company, we have the spirit complex, which was activated and awakened by 2d animal experience. This spirit complex or shuttle was brought into play by individuation; or the giving and receiving of individual love as most easily seen in a pet in a loving home.

this 'moonlight' is of the greatest assistance in gaining 'help' on the self.

I know I have only dropped a few clues here; the other insights can be gained by self-reflection using others' paths as a starting point.
