I am sure that we're all fairly avid readers. I think a welcome addition to the B4th website would be to add a forum that can highlight books that may be complimentary to the Law of One.

I don't know how to create a poll, so responses would be nice.

Well to kick off this thread, I'll start by praising the books of Osho. I find them entertaining, different, and soul informing. Anyone else?

    Hello,

The series of books from the spirit "Bartholomew" (probably some 5D entity) is what I have found to be the closest to the Law of One.

Here are some extracts to show you the overral similarities of the message (this is going to be quite long)

Bartholomew, Reflections of an Elder Brother Awakening from the Dream

In your true nature, nothing is wrong, and a real healer knows this on a very deep level. The true healer brings that truth forward, which reminds the 'unhealed' of that truth, and healing takes place. The healer has the knowing and the strength to see behind the SEEMING imperfection, the SEEMINGLY disjointed motion of cellular growth. They see the perfection that stands behind all things. They simply bring that perfection foward and impress their knowing on the part that believes in limitation, and healing is the result. The real healer knows that since God is everything and God is absolutely perfect, then perfection is all there is, and the rest, which seems to be imperfect, is illusory.

Compare with Ra's explanation of the law of healing.

Ra Wrote:One of the primal distortions of the Law of One is that of healing. Healing occurs when a mind/body/spirit complex realizes, deep within itself, the Law of One; that is, that there is no disharmony, no imperfection; that all is complete and whole and perfect. Thus, the intelligent infinity within this mind/body/spirit complex re-forms the illusion of body, mind, or spirit to a form congruent with the Law of One. The healer acts as energizer or catalyst for this completely individual process.

YOU ARE LIGHT. YOU COME FROM LIGHT, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE AN EXTENSION OF LIGHT. You have no form unless you choose to move into form. As Light, you are omniscient and omnipresent. There is nothing you need because you are the All. Your purity of consciousness moves and joins with the rest of the One. You are limitless in the boundlessness of creation. There is no place that is not your home because everywhere there is but Light. So wherever you go, you will simply find yourself, manifesting again and again and yet again, pushing past all limits of mind into pure, spontaneous creation. The small, limited self dies before the expansive explosion of your Being. You are pure Self, pure Consciousness, pure Light, moving through all of the past and the future. That is what you are. You have never been anything else, you can never be anything else. You and the Source are One. All separation is illusion. So know your Self and be free.

Many of you fault yourselves because you are not consistently loving. You feel the rise and fall of loving feelings. Perhaps it will help if I remind you again that your ego is not capable of consistent love. It doesn't want to be consistently loving because it enjoys moving between polarities. You don't take a monkey and make it into a mountain. A monkey is a monkey and will move from tree to tree. A mountain is a mountain and will maintain itself as mountain. Your ego is the monkey, your Self is the mountain. The monkey running all over the mountain does not change the essence of mountain, does it? Mountain stays mountain. Monkeys do what they do. They fight, they scream, they make love, they live, they die, they eat bananas. And this does not change the essence of the mountain upon which they perform all their actions. You can choose to use monkey mind or feel mountain.

You need to identify and realign with mountain because that is what is really here. MOUNTAIN, not monkeys. They are very different things, and they FEEL different. The more you fall into the mountain of your Being, of awareness, and the more you turn the light of that awareness on itself, the stronger it becomes.

Bartholomew, I come as a brother

The illusion that you are a separate body, with a separate mind, somehow separated from the Source of what you are, is not the truth. Take seriously the thought that you are Love. You are Love and if you ARE that, it stands to reason that you can KNOW it!

You have to be human yourself to love mankind. Otherwise you stand above it, and you cannot love from above. How do you think those Enlightened Ones love? The roots of their power go deeply into the depths of the blue space beneath this planet, and their heads fly with the stars so high that your eyes cannot perceive them. Do you think that they love from above you only? Their beings are so vast that they hold this entire createdness in one hand. They do not love from above, from a superior stance, they love from their wholeness. And YOUR being is THAT vast, you have just forgotten. You think yourself to be a little person walking on a little planet. That is not so. YOUR heads are in the stars and your feet drop into deep blue space. THAT is how vast you are! You don't need to be rescued, you don't need to be saved. You are the rescuer and you are the saved. All you have to do is to wake up! And 'waking up' means taking everything behind you that you have tried to hide from and placing it in your vision. Sleepers hide from themselves. The warrior awakens and says, "I am ready. I want to know, so I can be harmless. I want to be harmless, because it is the only way to move in power on this planet." When you are one with humanity and have not placed yourself above it, tears of compassion will flow and you won't be able to see anything but One. There is only one. Your bodies have taken that one light and splintered it off into millions of lights. But the sun moving through a prism does not lose its original oneness. And that is what you are. When you are willing to face your unfinished business, your heart will break open, and you will see that all of you suffer from the same problem. You are afraid, because you have misidentified yourselves, and think that you are a small entity, moving through a perilous world to an unknown end.

Real 'wisdom' is the inner knowingness that each individual is presenting his own truth from his own perspective. The wise one accepts this without challenge and feels no need to defend his own position or to destroy that of another. You do not feel threatened by others when your wisdom is in balance! Wisdom cannot be experienced through words or information found in any book, even in the greatest of them. WISDOM HAS TO BE LIVED. Wisdom unfolds itself deeply within you when you begin to be responsible for finding your own truth, and do not impose it on any other being.

    Bartholomew, Planetary brother

You are you, and you are the person next to you and the one down the block. I want you to bang your brains against this statement, Get behind it and get to the truth that lies deeply below it. It is the koan of consciousness. How can it be? There is a part of you that doesn't even want to know. So the answer to your question is a question. Who or what is the 'I'? I will say it again. My awareness is your awareness. There is no separation. We are not two PRETENDING to be one, we ARE one.

Understanding through speech alone is not possible. YOU UNDERSTAND THROUGH EXPERIENCE. So I ask you to quit the verbalization and the mentalization and use the next years we come together to come to an understanding of how I am you.

Bartholomew, From the heart of a gentle Brother

As high a truth as I can bring to you this day is the understanding that, in order to move to another level of awareness, another expression of Being, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN A STATE OF TOTAL ENLIGHTENMENT. You do not have to be an Avatar or think only loving, uplifting, wondrous thoughts, or perform the actions of saints. But there is one thing that you absolutely must contain, which is a state of 51% HARMLESSNESS [ sounds really familiar with 51% STO BigSmile ]... How then do you become harmless? You begin by becoming harmless to yourself ...

Another book worth mentionning is Between life and death (conversations with a spirit) from Dolores Cannon, with a part of that book with a conversation with a spirit that really looks like Ra as close as it can be. Some extracts:

We shall speak to you now of unconditional love. We would say that in order to experience this concept one would necessarily be required to experience a lack of this same energy we call unconditional love. So, in the scheme of things, in the grand design, one finds oneself returned out of the darkness and lack of love and understanding. And thence into the light again on this side and surrounded with those who provide this unconditional love. Then one can easily remember the lack of it and relate in a most harmonious way to an abundance of it. This is a lesson this planet as a whole is now learning. The confusion and disharmony present on the planet has clouded and distorted this love to such a degree as to make it almost unrecognizable. This transition from one of conditional to unconditional love is now in its later stages.

    ...

We would speak to those who feel that perhaps there should be more to life than what they have experienced. You desire more yet you seem not to find the door, perhaps, to go through to experience it. Your door, if you choose to use that analogy, is your own mind and simply nothing more. The ultimate goal on the physical plane is to know yourself. You
shall be offered many lessons which will challenge you to know yourself. And oftentimes these will be painful. We would ask you to examine the rose and see that in such beauty there is always some element of hurt [Would a rose be ashamed of her thorns?]. For to truly enjoy the rose it must be plucked from the stalk. And so there is the danger of sticking one’s finger on the rose thorns. This could be used as an analogy of life on the physical plane.

However, in those times of distress and urgency, we would ask that you always remember that your experiences are given to you by yourself. You, yourself, choose that which is to be experienced, so that you may learn those lessons which you need. Thus through these painful experiences you will indeed begin to know yourself. And if you learn something from these experiences, then they will not have been in vain.

You are truly the master of your own fate and destiny. You, yourself are in complete control of what you call your lifetime. You are the one who is making decisions as to when and where and how. We, from our point of view, can see all the options spread out before you. But it is you, yourself who must make the final decisions. You also cannot help but influence other individuals while you are living on this plane. You influence individuals continuously.

Went to a group meeting last week - a series of meeting based on this book ("Birth 2012") and creating a mass celebration on December 22, 2012 to celebrate Earth moving into a higher plane of consciousness.

The book itself has been only marginally interesting to me from a philosophical point of view, although it's interesting to see how many different ways we have of approaching this subject and how many people are moved by the feeling that we are at a tipping point.

I am currently re-reading one of my all time favorites:

    PERELANDRA, by C. S. Lewis

2nd paragraph of the book reads:

"For Ransom had met other things in Mars besides the Martians. He had met the creatures called eldila, and specially tha great eldil who is the ruler of Mars or, in their speech, the Oyarsa of Malacandra. The eldila are very different from any planetary creatures. Their physical organism, if organism it can be called, is quite unlike either the human or the Martian. They do not eat, breed, breathe, or suffer natural death, and to that extent resemble thinking minerals more than they resemble anything we should recognise as an animal. Though they appear on planets and may eeven seem to our senses to be sometimes resident in them, the precise spatial location of an eldil at any moment presents great problems. They themselves regard space (or "Deep Heaven") as their true habitat, and the planets are to them not closed worlds but merely moving points -- perhaps even interruptions -- in what we know as the Solar System and they as the Field of Arbol."

The book was written in 1944. First came out in paperback in 1965. I first read it in 1966.

There are two more books in this series. They're all wonderful!

    The Book of Chuang Tzu
by Martin Palmer (Translator), Elizabeth Breuilly (Translator), Martin Palmer (Introduction)

One of the founders of Taoism, Chuang Tzu was firmly opposed to Confucian values of order, control, and hierarchy, believing the perfect state to be one where primal, innate nature rules. Full of profundity as well as tricks, knaves, sages, jokers, unbelievably named people, and uptight Confucians, The Book of Chuang Tzu perceives the Tao-the Way of Nature- not as a term to be explained but as a path to walk. Radical and subversive, employing wit, humor, and shock tactics, The Book of Chuang Tzu offers an intriguing look deep into Chinese culture.

this book was recommended by the so called hidden hand thread. as a text congruent with the Law of One. and it is! talks about going with the flow as opposed to power and control by way of stories and situations.

Do not seek fame. Do not make plans. Do not be absorbed by activities. Do not think that you know. Be aware of all that is and dwell in the infinite. Wander where there is no path. Be all that heaven gave you, but act as though you have received nothing. Be empty, that is all.

    Chuang Tzu (c.360 BC - c. 275 BC)

The book "The Only Planet of Choice" by Phyllis V. Schlemmer was very interesting.

"Conversations With God" by Neale Donald Walsch, books 1-3 are good as well.

I need to balance my spiritual reading with the less profound, so I'm re-reading Catcher In the Rye and laughing my head off at the moment...before the dark and disturbing passages start.

    Hello!

This is my first time posting, though I have been avidly following this forum as a source for advice and inspiration from like minded people such as yourselves. This is by far the Lightest place I have found on the interweb  BigSmile

Has anyone read the Ringing Cedars of Russia series by Vladimir Megre?
Before I found the Law of One this was by far the most inspirational book series I have read. The path that I chose to follow in my life afterwards was completely transformed and for that I am so grateful.
Discovering the Law of One a few years afterward only solidified this path.

I suggest looking into this series and if it resonates with you - dive in!
Please note that Vladimir was never an author before this series, so his writing can be a bit rough especially in the first few books - but it gets better and smoother as you keep reading.
