Visible Energy Pattern

I pulled off pics of visible energy patterns. I was playing with this piece while stuck in road construction traffic and was blown away when I noticed the energy colors creating a prism effect from sunlight.

If you notice, the color band gets thicker as it travels up the coil, in the same fashion as the theoretical understanding works.
