Is there any difference between mind and consciousness? Are they both the same thing or consciousness is an aspect of the mind?

I rather think the mind is an aspect of consciousness, just like the body. Imo awareness and conciousness are one and the same.

I've heard that consciousness is the substratum of existence. The fundamental aspect.

The mind/body is linked, so you can't have one without the other.

In time/space I'm not sure if you just have spirit without mind. But you still have consciousness.

    Great question again, Infinite  Angel

I would say that the mind ('mind complex') is a function of the density of experience.

So the mind of a 1d entity is qualitatively different from the mind of a 4d entity.

In terms of 'consciousness', I think consciousness is that 'thing' which experiences the mind.

From 72.17: "The energies of life itself, being the One Infinite Creator, flow from the south pole of the body seen in its magnetic form. Thus only the Creator may, through the feet, enter the energy shell of the body to any effect."

I also think of consciousness as the 'Witness'.

In the sense of the Creator witnessing itself (the Creation).

I would say that consciousness IS. The Lord said, “I am that I am.”

The mind is like a tool. For consciousness to experience itself, it fashions a mind, a body, and a spirit with which to experience Creation. It allows to think, decide, choose, contemplate, discern. These complexes are in potentiation from the beginning but are activated throughout our evolutionary journey. Like Plenum said, the mind of a 1D entity compared to a 4D mind; there is a massive difference.

Time/space has mind, body, and spirit as well. The body is the astral or form maker body, and then also the spirit and the mind. Time/space is like a reflection of the mind. Creation is really a thoughtform in the mind of God. We create our own realities, truly. Especially true in time/space where things are malleable and influenced by own minds and thoughts. Thoughts are things in the metaphysical Ra said.

The 22 archetypes of the Tarot show us the process of the development of consciousness.

Mind pertains to memory and (id)entity, both at an individual and transpersonally/multi-incarnationally-collective/racial scale (you don't "have" a mind—you share and contribute to a mind, but one body at a time pretends individuality). Some of its most basic functions involve (re)collection, processing, and distillation of experiential data. 1D and 7D are particularly mindless/mind-free. As is the Creator/Infinity.

Consciousness may be understood as an intrinsic quality/feature rather than a thing. It is akin to wakefulness. Within Creation, the illusion-bound entity may be more or less awake. Meanwhile, the Creator/Infinity is All-Awake. The more awake, the more creativeness (Love).

Don't get too hung up on words; words are the domain of the Tower of Babble (and unless one is multi-lingual and has a good grasp on etymology—particularly Greco-Latin and Germanic/English—this "trap" won't become apparent) ZZzz
