i live just outside nyc. there is a vegetarian restaurant in jamica queens i go to sometimes around parsons blvd and jamica ave. if u guys want to meet up sometime at this place let me know. for me it is better to meet early say before 12 noon. i am off fridays so that day i would have more flexibility. i have to get the name of the restaurant it escapes me now. but meeting up would be fun. the food is great there and reasonable.

no sister that is a different neighborhood. this restaurant is run by the sri chimnoy group, which is a spiritual group . they have two restaurants in jamaica queens that are vegetarian and the food is excellent along with the vibe . i will have to find the name out.

Whoa norral, you actually head near Parsons & Jamaica!? I'm not too far from there, I'd definitely be down to meet up sometime there (though I wasn't aware that there was a vegetarian restaurant around there!)

I am at union square, the heart of the OWS movement, and have been living on the streets for a few months hanging out with a sadistic STS. I believe I am the opposite, a sort of STS in the name of STO. I would appreciate your service in providing a place to stay so that others may realize their service, and I will provide much learn/teaching to others as a study group, both for private study and for daily interaction with other selves, which is the the key to catalyst, and there is much catalyst to be found in union square until the end of 2012.

Preaching the Law of One is ineffective, as it should be learned through example and action more than words. Allow yourself to put your spiritual beliefs into practice more than indulging in private study and you will spiritually grow.

I have given up attachment and my worldly possessions to be here and experience this, living in poverty to learn, though I am still spoiled from my old middle class suburban life- if you're spoiled too then that's great.

I would like all of us to meet and grow in this world of suffering, so let me know if you are truly willing to do this. We can message each other and meet or you can go to the park yourself and experience the way of the streets. There is music, food and cold concrete to sleep on, and always more to learn.

I'm so jelly of you guys... I so want to check out COSM. Alex Grey founded it, the guy responsible for some of the Tool album covers and other metaphysical artwork. Apparently there is a bunch of cool artwork there and they hold group meditations and 'full moon parties', etc.

Hi there...this is my first time posting anything (on any forum, ever)...I am so happy to have found this thread because I live in NYC and have been wondering if anyone here has read The Law of One material...I was introduced to it about a year ago and have read the whole thing twice...first time a "philosophy" made complete sense...I would love to connect with others here to discuss it all...if there is a group, that would be wonderful!!!

Hi Audrey, I am looking for the same but found that there is no group yet. If there are more people interested it would be interesting to form a group in the city or at least to organize a meeting to discuss the material and our experiences!

Hi Daniel! There may be no group yet but two people can have a conversation...
I would love to discuss all this with someone who has read the material...so far I have come across no-one who has...where are you in NYC?

I live down in Brooklyn, forming a small meetup group would be a fantastic idea.

Great! Audrey I now live in NJ but just right at the border so I have no trouble in getting to NYC.
IndiGo33 awsome! We should definitely do this.

So if any of you has any suggestions on when/where we could meet please post them here or PM the other two!

I feel there might be more people who might want to connect in NY , we will see!

New York is a great city of America. I’ve heard so much about this city because New York is one of the most populous urban agglomeration in the world, And also one of the world’s largest natural harbors. Whatever I’ll write for this city will be not enough because New York has so much to say about itself. Whenever I’ll get the chance I’ll defiantly go there to see the beautiful city who’s having one of the world’s wonder “THE STATUE OF LIBERTY”

This is a very old thread, but if anyone is still up for meeting in NYC, I can host small gatherings at my house. I live in Manhattan.
