You know how pretty much any cell phone you can buy will have it's "Normal" "Silent" "Meeting" etc. modes, and how you can change the name of that profile and it will be written in text on the main screen of your phone? Well, fancy this idea...

I have been using many different phrases and thoughts for both my Normal and Silent modes. Most recently I had "Be happy!" for normal and "STFU!!!" for silent, lol. Anyway I just got home from work and felt like changing the profile names again, when a VERY different thought came into mind concerning these profiles. I thought to myself, "Why use any words at all?" Now my profiles are as follows..

    Normal mode = !
    Silent mode = ?

I can't believe just how much I LOVE this concept. The exclamation mark is like a statement of "Yes, I will make noise when you receive a call." And the silent mode's question mark speaks to me saying "You may or may not be getting a call, but you most likely won't know because I am silent."

This is a rather silly story I know, but it just blew me away how much I LOVE not using words for my cell phone profiles. In fact, I do not post a lot on these forums because I can't stand formulating my thoughts into written words...and doing so in this forum takes a bit more careful choosing of words since we are all naturally inquisitive on the "true" meanings of what each other are trying to say. Fragmented sentences, and single word statements inside my head are enough for me to think to myself efficiently (and communicate with my guides/higher self). I have to carefully craft FAT sentences when speaking or writing, and I'd rather not do it most of the time, lol.

    Godspeed!

I totally agree Turtle. Written words, although seemingly very practical, limit ones ability to express themselves. As everything is light and vibrations, it must have infinite ways of variation. Languages are sort of fixed or limited (creativity is not though so you can make up new words i guess). I have intricate thoughts but it's not always easy putting them on paper, and especially the way i mean for it to sound. I agree with that symbols can mean so much more than words, and its a funny idea with your phone. Smile

    love&light!

    ................

    Agree!!! BigSmile lol

If only you all could simply receive my thoughts. (and visa versa) Oh what a joy communication would be then! I would probably talk in pictures half the time. Smile
