I had to drive into Louisville to pick my wife up at the airport yesterday, so I decided to drive in early to have dinner with Bring4thGLB, his girlfriend, and another friend from LLResearch who doesn't post on Bring4th. While driving past Lexington on Interstate 64, I looked up into the sky and saw a lenticular cloud (the type that looks like a giant UFO). Looking around, I noticed that there were many of these in the sky. It was like driving under a fleet of UFO motherships.
Lenticular clouds are extremely rare here in Central Kentucky; I've lived here for 31 out of my 52 years, and this is the first time I've ever seen one. So I interpreted the experience as a good omen. And indeed, we had a splendid evening with lots of good fellowship and stimulating conversation.
