I got attunements to Reiki years ago.

There are evidently a bunch of attunements on the web.

Here's an attunement to Archangel Michael.

I wonder how effective all these attunements are.

The broader question is, what exactly are attunements? What is it that actually occurs on a metaphysical level, if anything?

I know a Reiki attunement allows you to channel the Reiki energy (life-force energy). And do healings.

Not sure about this Archangel Michael attunement.
