note that Sydney time is one hour ahead due to daylight savings.

Time: 10am EST, 3pm London, 1am Sydnay (next day)
    Date: Saturday 10 Oct
    Location: Chatroom 2 (the lounge)
Topic: gratitude for what our Mothers have offered us.  Even if that was nothing more than the possibility of a physical incarnation.  I would like to think our Mothers offered us each more than that, but not everyone chose the circumstances of a loving family environment.  Nonetheless, it would not be possible for us to be here considering such things, if it wasn't for some woman who gave us the gift of a physical life.

    - -

Theme: we all have varying relationships with members of our family.  Bu the first, and most impactful, is with that of or mother.  We were carried inside her for the period of 9 full months, and even though the physical interaction was mediated by what we call the placenta, our mothers essentially breathed for us, and supplied us with every nutrient that would come to form our physical beingness, before we entered this world officially as a separate being.

Not everyone, however, has had a loving mother.  Sometimes we chose circumstances to be be denied love, so that we could learn to give it without return.  Such was the case for an individual that we are all familiar with, at some level:

Quote:50.5 Questioner: Will you give that?

Ra: I am Ra. We paused to scan this instrument’s consciousness for permission to use its experiential catalyst as example. We may proceed.

This is one instance and extrapolation may be made to other entities which are aware of the process of evolution. This entity chose, before incarnation, the means whereby catalyst had great probability of being obtained. This entity desired the process of expressing love and light without expecting any return. This instrument programmed also to endeavor to accomplish spiritual work and to comfort itself with companionship in the doing of this work.

Agreements were made prior to incarnation; the first, with the so-called parents and siblings of this entity. This provided the experiential catalyst for the situation of offering radiance of being without expectation of return. The second program involved agreements with several entities. These agreements provided and will provide, in your time/space and space/time continuum, opportunities for the experiential catalyst of work and comradeship.

don't like your parents? well, tough Smile  You chose them for a reason, and you both agreed to these situations ahead of time.    Everyone gets what they need to continue their learning process.

So let's be grateful for what they've offered us.  I am sure, on some level, they too appreciate what we've offered them, and although we are probably nice people, it might be hard for them to expand their sphere of acceptance to include the offbeat and the strange.  Our catalyst, for them, is not necessarily the easiest for them to integrate either.  But that's their lesson to deal with.

What we can do is be grateful for the opportunities they've provided for us thus far.  Or if they've passed beyond this place, we can send them appreciation to where they are now.  It is all received; nothing goes astray.

So if you are comfortable with this particular theme, then we will gather in the Chatroom on the hour, and spend 10 minutes meeting and greeting.  We will meditate for 7 minutes, and then compare notes.

    much light!

I'll be going to a friend's house at that time.
But I'm not sure if even a meditation will make me love my mom any more.

I had a strained relationship with my mum in the past and I intuited to simply pray for love to be sent her way as communication had broken down between us. Last week she messaged me and asked if I could help her move some stuff from one room to another. I am going to see her tomorrow morning after several months of not speaking and I suspect our time/space companions have helped me out here!

Well... shoot... my mom had been blowing me off for several months now, too, and just contacted me last week, too...

I love my mother and I'm grateful for her definitely, but she has never spent a day doing something that she didn't want to, including parenting. So it's hard to think of positive things to thank her for, as she was hardly selfless, but I can feel genuine gratitude for things like, thank you for experiencing what it feels like to be hated by a parent so that I am able to empathize with others in a difficult place, thank you for breaking my things so I rarely valued stuff, thank you for teaching me about addicts, etc. I do express gratitude for these things but it's definitely not as easy as say, thanking air and Q'uo. setting my alarm to wake up from a dream at this time, and i will dive in immediately.

My mom recently underwent two surgeries, so let us call upon the law of squares to think of our mothers as one great mother!!!!

Yeah I don't think it is helpful to force the issue either. As Plenum noted, we need to feel comfortable with the theme. This Q'uote of the day might help  Smile

I was off by an hour, it's 7am my time, not 8am  Dodgy

I missed it!  I was so disappointed!  I hope everything went well for everyone!

yah, it seems as though different states use or don't use daylight savings.  I have to check week-by-week to make sure things line up (world clock)

I sync everything with New York time, and so it's best to compare whatever time comes up with what New York local time is.

As for the meditation itself, it was less 'spectacular' than previous ones; but I'm sure this kind of personal work has much deeper effects on the individual.

Sorry you missed it; maybe another time  Heart

Oh yeah I felt that loneliness vibe. Definitely more of a personal inner-mother growth or something. But I definitely felt many 'motherly' essences, especially from you Plen, since you were the only other one I knew for sure was there, lol

Thank you all I was there with you for 45 minutes of meditation, joining all the Love/Wisdom energies of nearly every Female I know with the center of the Earth in the form of a Golden, light-yellow ball. Its still sitting there at the center of the earth if you wanna feel it!
