Past Lives - Matt1 - 08-31-2014

How does on go about remembering? or can someone do readings here?

RE: Past Lives - AnthroHeart - 08-31-2014

When I get a memory that didn't happen in this life, that I'm emotionally attached to, it was either from a dream or a past life. That's the only way I can recall.

RE: Past Lives - Phoenix - 08-31-2014

My advice is to stay away. I had a bunch of past lives and now I'm taking down my identification with them. If you seek and you're not meant to know your mind will provide you with symbols. Which you will later have to take down and face the lessons that you are avoiding by going there.

RE: Past Lives - Unbound - 08-31-2014

Quote:Begin in nothingness, then fill your mind only with your own essence. From the present moment then travel back through every moment of this life to your birth and then cross the threshold back in to the field of your own memory.

To keep your essence pure as yourself, chant, speak or whisper your own name as was given to you at birth in this life. You may also do the same with your magical name if you have one, interchanging them, however the key is to use this life as an anchor to your own memories. This is one of the techniques of the Art of Remembrance.

RE: Past Lives - Adonai One - 08-31-2014

My experience: When your soul group is an assimilar being (every individual is nearly the same due to constant social memory sharing), past lives become so numerous and parallel that it becomes a very underwhelming experience; And hearing you were a famous person is meaningless because it's a shared life among millions who can all take credit for it (embarrassing experience).

Screw past lives. Remembering is only useful if your catalyst isn't clear to you as you are now. And even if you fully remembered, I hope you enjoy having multiple personality disorder as they attempt to integrate, if your guidance lets you go that far.

There are also plenty of MP3s of past life regression hypnosis that you can buy or download. My experience with them varied. Dick Sutphen's just put me to sleep, every damn time. Another random one I downloaded shortly after my awakening worked, to my utter surprise, although I was highly skeptical but open-minded to the possibility. You can also always find a past-life hypnotherapist who could customize the session to your needs and specific questions. Good luck!

RE: Past Lives - Raz - 09-01-2014

“How many times have I been reincarnated, then?”
“Oh lots. Lots and lots. An in to lots of different lives.” I said. “This time around, you’ll be a Chinese peasant girl in 540 AD.”
“Wait, what?” You stammered. “You’re sending me back in time?”
“Well, I guess technically. Time, as you know it, only exists in your universe. Things are different where I come from.”
“Where you come from?” You said.
“Oh sure,” I explained “I come from somewhere. Somewhere else. And there are others like me. I know you’ll want to know what it’s like there, but honestly you wouldn’t understand.”
“Oh,” you said, a little let down. “But wait. If I get reincarnated to other places in time, I could have interacted with myself at some point.”
“Sure. Happens all the time. And with both lives only aware of their own lifespan you don’t even know it’s happening.”
“So what’s the point of it all?”
“Seriously?” I asked. “Seriously? You’re asking me for the meaning of life? Isn’t that a little stereotypical?”
“Well it’s a reasonable question,” you persisted.
I looked you in the eye. “The meaning of life, the reason I made this whole universe, is for you to mature.”
“You mean mankind? You want us to mature?”
“No, just you. I made this whole universe for you. With each new life you grow and mature and become a larger and greater intellect.”
“Just me? What about everyone else?”
“There is no one else,” I said. “In this universe, there’s just you and me.”
You stared blankly at me. “But all the people on earth…”
“All you. Different incarnations of you.”
“Wait. I’m everyone!?”
“Now you’re getting it,” I said, with a congratulatory slap on the back.
“I’m every human being who ever lived?”
“Or who will ever live, yes.”

*sniped* from; the egg
, you can find the short story in it´s whole there.

This story reminded me of when I started to remember everything during my NLE (and I do mean everything; experience and knowledge from the dawn of time to the end of time within this universe)... Where I experienced; I am you, in another point of view.

I can imagine a room full of wanderers and one of their number comes back and they're all connected. They go: So who wants to be the reincarnated: Leonardo Da Vinci. Sigmund Freud etc.

Actually, maybe I missed the point, maybe it's like: Who's planning on using this mythology? And it probably wouldn't be just that wanderer group.

I tried Dick Stuphen's past life regression mp3s too. a few times. I think I really can't be hypnotized. (I also tried it a few years ago for quitting smoking and it failed. not that hypnosis didn't work, it was because I couldn't get hypnotized. my friends quit with the same therapist) But during my 3rd attempt with that past life regression session I saw myself in a jedi-like dressing gown and I think I was a student in a school. The place had very high ceilings and organic structure, tree-like door gates etc. but it was more like I was making up them in my mind rather than seeing a vision. (Dick Stuphen says if you think you're making up, you are making up the truth but I still think I was just making up haha) Even though I am curious about my past lives just for the fun of it, I am not so sure I would like to find out about them. and I agree with Adonai One. There's no point in remembering them as long as it is not about clearing a catalyst.

Let your story be your story. It's all a story anyways, why not play the role, as big or small as it appears?

I admit I do not understand the seemingly underlying inhibition towards past lives.

RE: Past Lives - Matt1 - 09-01-2014

I am not greatly interested in past lives but i guess its something fun to play with. I agree that if experience draws you to remembering so be it. It seems to be an issue that has generated a fair deal of emotional response here, i never realized it was such a sensitive subject.

RE: Past Lives - space cat - 09-01-2014

actually a few hours before seeing your post, I was thinking and amazed, how come I don't remember a single thing amongst so many lifetimes? and congratulated god being so successful on this forgetting process haha

but since always I miss the places I have never been, or I get very emotional thinking about those scenes in my mind. they are mostly same or similar places and atmospheres. it's like a sweet nostalgia, like feeling homesick or remembering a good old day. maybe they are the traces of my past lives, or something else I don't know.

I recognise that motivation in myself from back in the day. But I don't think metaphysical things like this should be there for fun. I think life should be the fun and metaphysical is where you go to improve things in some way when life sucks out the lightness and fun.

RE: Past Lives - Unbound - 09-02-2014

I don't think I could diverge metaphysics (or physics for that matter) from what I consider life, for myself aha

I'v never tried intentionally to remember having said that I have a strong feeling of being a rather old tree and have a strong connection to archery. I have shot a bow a few times as a kid and certainly had a nack for it. I imagine the archery link my have links to china but not too sure on that.

RE: Past Lives - Unbound - 09-02-2014

I had my first experiences of past life memory from a very, very young age, and spent much of my childhood immersed in those other fields of self. It has always been the same lives. Some people seem to float over and around various lives, sometimes believing in some, sometimes in others, but for me it has always been the same lives, same identities that I have remembered and there is a progression that I remember as well, I remember in between lives. Over time I have remembered more and more from these same lives. Every once in awhile I will discover a new life but for the most part it is pretty consistent.

RE: Past Lives - AnthroHeart - 07-27-2015

I was a wolfy anthro philosopher in a past life in 4D, I think the one immediately before this one. Unless I did a whole cycle on Earth. Even before that I was in 6D. When I saw the need to serve, I came.

I can only imagine 4D philosophy. Nearly 5D harvestable was the social memory complex.

And I had a lovely mate.

RE: Past Lives - Minyatur - 07-27-2015

I never tried so much to remember past lives, except this thing :

I do know 6 lives ago I was an hebrew slave in egypt and I met a wanderer who was an egyptian. We then became friends, he's a good friend who has been teach/learning and learn/teaching a lot with me since then. Despite my pride of it, I do know I've rarely been the teach/learner and more often the learn/teacher in our friendship, which is nice when you think about your own growth more than your pride.

RE: Past Lives - Namaste - 07-27-2015

They're not past lives :¬)

They're concurrent lives; everything exists in the moment. We tap into concurrent lives all the time without knowing it, taking inspiration from 'them', just as 'they' can take inspiration from 'us'.

If you want to connect to them, just ask (your guides / higher self)!

RE: Past Lives - Monica - 07-27-2015

I had past life memories as a child, of a particularly traumatic lifetime. It was as though that lifetime was superimposed over this one at times. I could remember key details every bit as clearly as the details in this lifetime.

If you look at stories of children who remember past lives, it's usually because they experienced some intense trauma in that lifetime. The trauma made an imprint.

Later, I resolved the issues from that past life, by forgiving the person responsible.

Then, I got some past life readings, but I barely remember them. They didn't have any emotional charge for me.

But, when I did a regression and remembered more snippets from other lifetimes (Not the original one but others), those were very real and I felt the emotional charge from them, so I am quite sure they really happened.

Then, still later, I had some intense stuff happening with some people and in a moment of intense emotion, I asked my Higher Self to show me the karma between that person and myself. I then saw a snapshot of a past life, crystal clear, that explained the dynamic. I didn't know any details, but just saw and felt, actually re-experienced, a particular incident - the incident that started the karmic pattern. By re-experiencing it and confronting it, I was able to understand the energy between us and seek reconciliation, which I did.

I did this a few more times over the years. So, based on my experience, I'd say that the best way to get a glimpse of a past life is when you are in the throes of an intense emotional connection with someone, coupled with a sincere desire to resolve the karma and forgive the other person (and yourself). That's when you might be shown the nature of the dynamic. I saw it as a memory, in technicolor, complete with emotion and physical sensation; ie. every bit as real as any memory from this life.

My experiences seem to indicate that intense emotion is what opens the door to past life memory. Unless, of course, you are gifted and can read the Akashic Records...in which case it would be a lot easier. You could find a psychic who can do that, but when I did that, I didn't get much out of it. It was a total non-event. Like I said, I don't even remember what she said I did or who I was. But the ones I accessed and remembered myself, I still remember many years later as though yesterday.
