The literal "Law of One" interpreted in logic - Adonai One - 05-23-2014

Definitions:
-Truth (true): A consciousness of a thing.
-Falsity (false): An unconsciousness of a thing.
-Contradiction: Consciousness of a thing and an unconsciousness of a thing at once.

The Laws of Truth:

1. The Law of Truth: All things are true. (The Law of One)
2. The Law of Falsity: All things can be false; Absolute falsity is no value of true or false. (Polarity)
3. The Law of True Contradictions: All contradictions are true. (The Law of Free will)

The Laws of Pleasure:

1. The Law of Pleasure: Pleasure is what is falsified by seeing contradictions as true. (The Law of Responsibility-to-others)
2. The Law of Suffering: Suffering is what cannot be currently falsified by seeing contradictions as neither true or false. (The Law of Responsibility-to-self)
3. The Law of Being: Pleasure is found in both "The Law of Pleasure" and "The Law of Pain" as both obtain and are true. (The Law of One restated)

The Law of Life:

- There is mystery in what is seen as a contradiction. (The Law of One restated once more in totality.)

All inspired from this single quote:

Quote:80.8: ...As this entity that is our visitor increases his power through these works, what is the power that he increases? Can you describe it?

Ra: I am Ra. The power of which you speak is a spiritual power. The powers of the mind, as such, do not encompass such works as these. You may, with some fruitfulness, consider the possibilities of moonlight. You are aware that we have described the Matrix of the Spirit as a night. The moonlight, then, offers either a true picture seen in shadow or chimera and falsity. The power of falsity is deep as is the power to discern truth from shadow. The shadow of hidden things is an infinite depth in which is stored the power of the One Infinite Creator.

The adept, then, is working with the power of hidden things illuminated by that which can be false or true. To embrace falsity, to know it, to seek it, and to use it gives a power that is most great. This is the nature of the power of your visitor and may shed some light upon the power of one who seeks in order to serve others as well, for the missteps in the night are oh! so easy.

Edit: Added one more law.

I'm not sure I understand.

When we seek an event or other object, we are attempting to falsify other possible events through the will. In other words, we limit and falsify the Potentiator in its Potential. This is the purest essence of the will. This is why I warn against using too much will. This is why the negative path is simply the path of too much will.

The pleasure comes in when we seek conciousness of this process as when we eat a delicious apple we experience the true contradiction of eating: Wanting the apple gone yet wanting the experience to continue.

Or perhaps enjoying a ride through the countryside and enjoying the true contradiction of falsifying the scene as it passes through the will of your car and yourself yet embracing what comes after.

How about standing in the middle of a field? You are embracing all other things you could be doing but are not.

Pleasure is becoming what you are not.

For further example and contrast, the negatively polarized individual will attempt to falsify every present moment for the next one, always living in a denial of what is for what is not existent, not in a true hope that it becomes existing but in the only hope that more falsification can occur for greater expanses of time.

The path begins with aspirations but ends in endless lust for more for the sake of more.

You kill one, you want to kill two, you kill 100, you want to slaughter a country, etc. The satisfaction of every kill only building a greater hunger for more blood. The Law of Pleasure is negated completely for only the following of The Law of Pain.

The falsification only beckons more falsification by its repulsive nature. When the creator wants something, it unconsciously negates what it does not creating a vaccum of attraction.

Pain is becoming something we believe we are but currently cannot be. Pain is the falsifaction of the self. Hunger comes from wishing to falsify what is not satisfied. This falls away when it is seen all is satisfied.

You lost me at 'I shall call them Thoughtmaker's Laws '

RE: The literal "Law of One" interpreted in logic - Adonai One - 05-24-2014

Sorry you feel that way, reeay. I welcome any criticism nonetheless.

Continuing a previous line of discussion, I accept criticism and take from it what I like. However, don't expect me to commit to it.

Not a criticism, just perplexing. Pain/pleasure issue is of the body complex and something of interest to behavioralism or rationalism philosophy. Seems you elevated it to something spiritual.

The quote you used talks about shadow aspects and veil of the unconscious mind, which is neither true nor false. Perhaps study of personality & structure of mind may be helpful?

Pleasure = State of consciousness that is desired?

Pain = State of consciousness that is not desired?

By pain, one can assume I mean suffering. Edited.

How do you explain ambivalence - when someone is experiencing state desired yet at the same time not desired?

Ambivalence or confusion is a very common problem that people tend to be unconscious of.

A series of pleasures and sufferings in regards to certain desires and beliefs -- conscious and unconscious. Simultaneous of course.
