Life is a game - bosphorus - 05-04-2014

Life is a game and we are all players. It's a game of self discovery and creating. We're all coming from God, The Eternal Source. We're created in His likeness as Miniature Gods. When our path is finished we all return to Him and we become One with Him.

A short essay from me. just wanted to share with you.

take care

RE: Life is a game - isis - 05-04-2014

synch...this morning i dreamed some1 visited me & discovered i still hadn't played a board game they'd given me a long time ago

i hadn't played the game mainly bc i was unfamiliar with it but also bc i just didn't want to. it was similar to scrabble

they were upset to see it still hadn't been opened & wanted to play it with me & another person i was with. bc they were upset, i agreed

shortly after we started playing the game, i became aware i was dreaming

i got up & walked out of the house i was in & saw police officers everywhere & they were just staring at me

then i just stood there feeling confused & wondering wth the meaning was behind what i was witnessing

then i heard myself think something like, 'the dream i've just had, & am currently having, is NOT from my own subconsciousness. another consciousness, or co-creator, is responsible for the dream'

in the dream i just knew who had given me the dream, the same person that had given me the game, & then i woke up & looked to see what time it was (like i always do right after waking) & it was 8 o'clock on the dot (top of the hour is a synch i frequently get)

so now i'm left thinking...is it possible to have a dream that's been given to u by another? i think not...but it's a fun thing to consider

Life is a hard game. I feel tired.

i feel u

& life's likely eternal. in other words, the (mostly hard) game is likely eternal. life after life after life after life...

thankfully, it's not constantly hard

i sympathize w/ the 1 infinite creator. i imagine being the 1 infinite creator is likely difficult & tiresome...(& that's likely exactly who/what we are)

infinity isn't necessarily a good thing, imo, when u think about it deeply enough. people capable of believing there's no life after life have got it easy, if u ask me

the game must go on...& on & on & on...

the 1 infinite creator can't turn itself off bc the game's hard &/or bc it's tired of playing + creating it. life isn't just a never-ending game to me; it's a never-ending job

to me, existing feels like forced labor

it seems there's no getting around it(existing, the game) so we might might as well quit complaining about it when it's hard. it is what it is; we are what we are

"all is one & that one is the infinite creator" ~ra

(may the 4th be with u)

Q'uo said that the Creator experiences ever increasing pleasure and agony. But we are so connected to Creator--being Creator--that it can't just quit. But I think things are heading back towards Creator. Who knows, maybe he'll be able to sleep in a matter of seconds compared to our time. Creator is outside of time, so it's probably no time at all between wakefullness and rest. All time is simultaneous to it. So it experiences everything at once as you know.

I agree with you it might be tiresome for Creator. I had an experience where I thought once I was Lucifer, and was experiencing everyone's revenge. That's when I thought I was talking with Creator, and that Creator created a new One Original Thought. I wasn't supposed to tell people about this but I blabbed anyway, so I felt at that time that I betrayed Creator. What kind of game is that where you think you're in the presence of Creator but you only experience misery?

The closest I've come to realizing my God potential was when I looked into my own subconscious. It was beautiful. Flying over a mountain range. It was surreal.

yeah, and it's helpful when playing 'games' to have a sense of the rules, and what one is trying to achieve.

Just like there are laws of physics which govern how the material world operates, there are also rules and patterns which govern how the mind operates; and it's the mind in which the theatre of this game primarily takes place; with suitable inputs from the physical environment and the spiritual space.

as you get a sense of these rules of the mind, things become progressively less confusing; as you start figuring out the deeper meaning of surface events and experiences. Not that total clarity is ever achieved, but you make a few more baby steps toward it each day, hopefully.

but vive la game!

Is achievement the primary cause of a game in all cases?

I'd say curiosity rather than achievement, as even the latter is a result of the former.

Heheh, from my sheet of the archetypal mind:

"Great Way of the Mind/Spirit: Knowledge: Curiosity/Absolution; Unity: Harmony/Attainment"

I can only say that we're in agreement.

Life is not a game. It's life.
Games are things we do to in order to experience 'life'.
Just like the good old game of forgetting who you are in order to be able to experience that which you are not.

Interesting. So the veil helps us experience that which we are not. I know in higher densities we still have the shadow self, so there is still a facing of that which we are not. Unless we are the shadow self too.

The shadow self is the unintegrated portion of yourself.

If we create our reality, and it is created within us, how is it there are things out there which we are not? Even the things we disagree with, they are indeed a part of us. We are infinity, and we are all things. Therefore what is it that we are not?
