2006.12.17 Teaching and Learning - Plenum - 02-24-2014 what is this thing that we call teaching and learning? http://www.llresearch.org/transcripts/issues/2006/2006_1217.aspx Q'uo Wrote:You ask this day about teaching and learning, how one teaches and how one learns. That is a question of enormous subtlety. And there is a wide variety in the ways in which we could approach this subject. We shall focus upon those aspects of the question which we sense are at the heart of the interest of those who have created the question. We wish to acknowledge beforehand that our response will be incomplete. RE: 2006.12.17 Teaching and Learning - AnthroHeart - 02-24-2014 I wish my dreams taught me something. But they usually are random. RE: 2006.12.17 Teaching and Learning - Plenum - 02-24-2014 (02-24-2014, 05:43 PM)Gemini Wolf Wrote: I wish my dreams taught me something. RE: 2006.12.17 Teaching and Learning - AnthroHeart - 02-24-2014 Last dream I had I was flying a small aircraft jet. It was hard to fly. But I had all the time I wanted to fly it. I was surprised I was picked to be able to fly it. RE: 2006.12.17 Teaching and Learning - AnthroHeart - 02-24-2014 I've had a number of them. Usually I'm flying a plane, or flying beside one. Message could be that you have all the time you need to learn your lessons. The challenge seems not to be to fly the aircraft, although it is "hard" to fly. More challenging is to get "picked", right? What could this mean? I had a quite similar dream a few weeks ago. I was also in a aircraft, but I wasn't alone: Two people were flying with me who are quite close to me in my "real life." They were steering the plane while I was observing and making comments behind them. This was a really interesting dream because its message related very well to an experience I had after the dream. RE: 2006.12.17 Teaching and Learning - AnthroHeart - 02-24-2014 After I flew the plane there were a bunch of puzzles and I was amazed at the amount of combinations of puzzles. I remember an All Dogs go to Heaven motif, from that cartoon. They were like pieces of a puzzle that were motifs. And I was excited by how many games there were. But yeah, I was flying the plane well. RE: 2006.12.17 Teaching and Learning - Poet - 02-26-2014 I looked this plane thing up on the internet. This is the best interpretation I've found: Airplane The hints on the bottom of the page are also very interesting: Quote:Am I taking a ‘flight’ into a new or challenging situation or relationship? I think that the plane has an uncertain element, whatever this might actually be, because one is in the air and not with both feets on the ground (kind of relates a bit to my signature). There is also something dynamic in it and this notion of change. Maybe the dream should show you that you can fly easily, you just have to "puzzle"/figure out where you want to fly (=where you want to go with your life). The fact that you surprisingly got picked shows that you are - like anybody else - worthy/competent for this task and that there is no need to wait for external salvation/help/confirmation. You have been amazed by the amount of combinations and games: maybe this is a hint that you should follow your passion and try different things to "puzzle it out?! |
