Why dogs live less than humans - from 6yr old - BrownEye - 05-28-2013 Quote:Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.http://fourleggedlove.wordpress.com/2013/03/18/why-dogs-live-less-than-human-answer-of-a-6-year-old/ RE: Why dogs live less than humans - from 6yr old - Jeremy - 05-28-2013 Wow! Last year when I was having my mental breakdown and was worn out, I asked Ra to please kill me. The experience was rather interesting because I suddenly felt the heat of my own distortions. I don't think I'm dead but sometimes I wish I were. Been having stomach pains over the last few months off and on. RE: Why dogs live less than humans - from 6yr old - ocean50 - 05-29-2013 Good one, thanks for sharing. RE: Why dogs live less than humans - from 6yr old - AnthroHeart - 05-29-2013 Karl I so agree. Even toward my dog whom I love more than anything, I haven't shown unconditional love. He growled at me one day and I popped him on his snout, causing him to cower down and whimper. If I had unconditional love, it would not have upset me one way or the other. If I can't show unconditional love towards him, I can't show it towards another. My mom makes me get angry thoughts sometimes with her immaturity, but I don't smack her, so maybe there's a speck of unconditional love there. But if unconditional love is how you feel inwardly, then I've failed there too. Good point, is unconditional love how you feel inwardly, rather than outward actions? RE: Why dogs live less than humans - from 6yr old - Karl - 05-29-2013 I think the actions are important, but their reasons for being done are important to the individual. The action affects the macrocosm (usually in unexpected ways) and the intent/reason/feeling affects the microcosm (the person). Action is a powerful 'proof' of intent/reason/feeling. |
