Defiantly....let the Earth know we love her and are grateful for her providence. I believe plants are aware is a sense, when you rub the leaves or rub a reed of grass....you are creating a love tie between you and the Earth. While in union with the Earth, allow the sun to absorb the relation between you and the Earth. If its not too cold, placing your bare feet onto the Earth is a great way to say hello to her, while being aware - you do this to connect and send her love.
When my mother became really ill....I tried something new that just seemed to of resonated deeply with me at the time....which was calling on the angels of the Earth. They were there for me, every moment, every thought. It was very powerful and humbling. I would only call on the 4 main angels, of the sun, wind, land, and water. I learned of them through the gospels of peace. The experience I had with them was like the love poem of Solomon with wisdom. The Earth knows each and every one of us.
