Knowingness of one's choices... - Turtle - 09-30-2012 I invite all on this board to take a moment to reflect on their own personal journeys in the sense of how you have already developed, and how you wish to continue developing. It is my viewpoint that the choice to incarnate in this life brings with it the very idea of fate or destiny. Once we realize that our seemingly fated paths are nothing more than our exercise of free will programming for the life before we began it, then we can be at ease with making further choices within the incarnation. This may not be the density of understanding in a grander sense, but this does not mean we are not allowed or even encouraged to know our own selves in relation to our various paths/themes we explore individually in this life. Thank you for reading, and godspeed in all of your endeavors! RE: Knowingness of one's choices... - AnthroHeart - 09-30-2012 Good thread. It makes me think about how one's choices affect their harvestability if it there were the idea of fate or destiny. I sometimes wonder if my choices are not in line with the Law of One. Or is it impossible not to be, since all things are one? It's funny, because when I do what I'm passionate about, I feel like I'm falling short. For instance a small thing, watching Star Trek online. They all say you shouldn't watch tv. That it's bad. But there are a few shows I enjoy. Thank you for the confidence booster about being at ease with our further choices in life. I didn't want to be one who felt like he was turning his back on the Infinite Creator at certain times. Even following the teachings of Ra goes against what many churches and philosophies think, and that sometimes bothers me. Strange how I can be worried by other doctrine. My dad never lets anything occult in his home. When I talk about it, he frowns on it. He's a church goer. RE: Knowingness of one's choices... - Turtle - 09-30-2012 Gemini Wolf, perhaps you could begin to trust your own intuition in harmony with whatever internal belief systems you already adhere to, in the hopes of becoming more at ease with your experience of life? RE: Knowingness of one's choices... - Spaced - 09-30-2012 For a lot of my life I felt like my strings were being pulled by forces outside of my control. One thing I've come to learn recently is that it is much simpler to just surrender and go along with these forces, because all these things are happening to me for a reason. Ra often says "All is well" and that is something that rings truer and truer to me. With the faith that All is Well in my heart I can see now that what once seemed like a struggle against forces pushing and pulling me can become a beautiful dance, where I am given ample opportunities to add my own unique flourishes. I have somewhat of a strange belief system. But I understand what you are saying. I can certainly follow what makes me happy. RE: Knowingness of one's choices... - BlatzAdict - 10-01-2012 i smoke cigarettes and smoke the wacky tobaccy. i often wonder if this ever brings down my harvestability or slides me down on the sto scale :\ I also drink beer sometimes. and I play video games. Eventually offering the opportunity to shorten your incarnation, which may be exactly what you need in the "future". We never know. |
