The Great Way of the Body - Plenum - 03-10-2012 THE ALCHEMIST stands at the pinnacle of the Great Chain of Body. if you examine these cards, you will that the end point is reached: Balance, Wisdom, Wheel, Enchant, Hanged Man, Death, ALCHEMY - - let us see some images: - - and let us go straight to the Source material with Ra. There is one quote that applies to this archetypal energy - Quote:81.14 Questioner: Finally, the fourteenth, the Way of the Body is called the Alchemist because there is an infinity of time for the various bodies to operate within to learn the lessons necessary for evolution. Is this correct? * Athanor: an oven; a fire; a digesting furnace, formerly used in alchemy, so constructed as to maintain a uniform and constant heat. - - so we see here a re-iteration of the theme that the Body is just a reflection of the interaction of the mind/spirit. this is a deep point, and one that goes to the heart of what may be considered physical ills/diseases. One often asks the question, why is this happening to me? and the answer can quite often be backtracked to a 'fruit' of the mind or spirit. if we look at the Great Chain of Body again, Balance, Wisdom, Wheel, Enchant, Hanged Man, Death, ALCHEMY you can see almost intuitively that these are representations of Physical Experience, and when correctly identified, they can help resolve the catalysts that are presenting themself in the body. - - so what exactly is Alchemy, and what does this card Represent? the promise of this card is that when the Mind and the Spirit are brought into alignment, then the Body may be seen as the instant manifestation of the contents of consciousness. this process happens regardless of whether one is working with Alchemy or not (the body 'reflects' the mind as a matter of course), but like all things, this Card is about bringing this Process to conscious awareness and understanding. the preceding card ('death') is about the message of allowing change to flow through you. Once that has been accepted, then the Alchemist can begin to do it's work; which is to allow HEALING to flow through you; and Healing here is more than just physical soundness and well-being. HEALING, in its truest sense, is the 'wholeness' of being; a perfect alignment of the mind/body/spirit complex with the Creator. - - this is no easy process; and I am still trying to work through it myself as best I can |
