Tattoos? - Crown - 03-05-2011 Hello everybody ![]() I have been wondering about what tattoo to get for a while now. Is there any reason that says i should not get a tattoo? What do you think about the idea of getting one of the following crop circles as a tattoo? What about the collors? And where on my body do you think i should put it? I need to know the meaning of each one of them though, i guess someone here could help me out with that? Please, any comment would be appreaciated. 1: ![]() 2: ![]() 3: ![]() 4: ![]() 5: ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Turtle - 03-05-2011 Why look to crop circles? Why not design an original tattoo just for you? RE: Tattoos? - Ens Entium - 03-05-2011 All the designs seem quite complicated for a tattoo. Numbers 4 and 5 least so. No. 5 is more edgey, lol.. RE: Tattoos? - Monica - 03-05-2011 Wow, what a great idea! I've never seen anyone with a crop circle tattoo before, but I'm surprised no one has thought of it til now (well probably someone did, somewhere...). How very cool! It will undoubtedly be a conversation piece! As for what they mean, you'd have to ask the aliens for that! ![]() There are lots of great designs to choose from...but since it will be permanent on your body, I would suggest some contemplation beforehand, to make sure the message of the design resonates with you. We can only guess as to what crop circles mean, but there is no doubt that they do mean something significant! Plenty of people have attempted to decipher them, which you can easily find by doing a youtube search. As to any reason not to get a tattoo, the main reason people sometimes regret their tattoos is if they outgrow the design. Like if a woman gets "property of John" tattooed on her rear, and then breaks up with John! Or a rock band that they no longer like later in life. Or, their body changes and the tattoo stretches and gets misshapen! (Good reason to keep in shape!) Then there's the issue of the ink being permanently in your body. I would make sure they are plant-based inks with no toxic chemicals. Maybe do a search on tattoos toxic? or something like that. I've never heard of tattoos being toxic, but then I've never looked into it. That's just something I would research a bit before doing. From the little I've heard, they appear to be harmless. I think a crop circle is a great idea because it looks cool, is esoteric, and will continue to help spread the message that our ET friends are sending to us! Genuine crop circles have perfect geometry - so you'd have to make sure you find a good artist who can reproduce it. Be sure and post a pic once you get it done! RE: Tattoos? - Crown - 03-05-2011 @turtle: Well, i have been trying to design a tattoo by myself for a few years now but with no success. @Ens Entium: I dont know, I think 1 and 3 are the only ones that might be quite impossible or hard to replicate as a tattoo. @Monica: Well, number 1 for an example seems like its the sun at the top and it radiates all kinds of lights. It also look like a road to something great, some kind of path to greatness. Harvest, ascension? I dont think i will regret a tattoo if it means something as great as this ![]() About the ink, im almost certain its not toxic. I will research further into this though. But please, vote on the poll, and tell me what you think the collor should be and why. And also, if you have an idea of where i should put it, please share it with me. Thank you for your comments. RE: Tattoos? - Bring4th_Austin - 03-05-2011 I voted for number 3. No doubt each crop-circle will have different meaning for different people. I've found it a very interesting and fun exercise to meditate on various crop-circle symbols, either staring directly at them or visualizing them, and seeing what comes up during meditation. I hope you have a good artist that can replicate these intricate designs ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Brittany - 03-05-2011 I personally like number 3. How big is this thing going to be? I'm wanting to get an alien on my calf, but I just don't have the money right now. BTW, I would pay the extra money to go to a top professional place. I've had two tattoos go bad on me because I went to cheap places, and it hurts a lot more if you have to get them redone. There is only one place in town I get tattoos at, and preferably from only one person. It's really worth it to find someone who does high quality work. RE: Tattoos? - Monica - 03-05-2011 #1 and #2, 1 on each bicep! Or, a bigger one on your chest or back, but it wouldn't get seen as much. RE: Tattoos? - Ens Entium - 03-05-2011 Number 4... it's got a symbology one can easily interpret. Maybe you want something flashier though. I would do red or black.. RE: Tattoos? - BlatzAdict - 03-05-2011 number 5... on the side of ur arm by the shoulder. i think a tatoo artist would tell u some are too complicated to get done. especially 1 and 2 i think it would be awesome if u found a tattoo artist willing to do 2 however... that would have to be a giant back piece. RE: Tattoos? - Crown - 03-05-2011 Thank you all for your help ![]() What do you think about the color though? should i make it a basic black...? I thought maybe green because i like the color and it represents 4th density doesnt it? :p I thought i'd do it on the area of my shoulder... not sure exactly where yet. Maybe between the shoulder and the neck on the front part... i dont know how you call that part. Dont forget to include your votes please xD Thanks. What would you think if you saw another physical alien (like a grey) with a tattoo of a human on its ankle?? ![]() Crown, I think number one looks like an eagle or some other bird ascending into the sun. I like it!! My faves are numbers 1 and 3. They seem to carry very interesting and uplifting messages... I think your color choice of green is a cool idea! Maybe green shifting into blue and/or even purple! But a tattoo of this kind of complexity as well as colors other than black are gonna run up a pretty big bill... My spot of choice would probably be the shoulder blade. But, this is all up to do! Do what you feel you'll enjoy for years to come. And I agree with abridgetoofar, in that meditation on each symbol is a great idea! It may help you to find a personal resonance with the one meant for you, or help you uncover a deeper message that relates to you. RE: Tattoos? - Etude in B Minor - 03-06-2011 I must say that I personally do not like tattoos at all. To me they look like, and remind me of, graffiti. And I just hate graffiti. It makes the world a less lovely place. Same with tattoos in my opinion. I guess I am just an old fuddy-duddy, but I like purity. The other poll about drug use I also found dismaying. I guess it is because substance abuse has caused a lot of misery in my family. I think the world would be a much better place without drugs, graffiti, and tattoos (and body-piercing jewelry). Just my opinion, and I know many do not share it. RE: Tattoos? - Ens Entium - 03-06-2011 (03-06-2011, 04:19 PM)Etude in B Minor Wrote: I must say that I personally do not like tattoos at all. I think the world would be a much better place without drugs, graffiti, and tattoos (and body-piercing jewelry). I personally would want a tattoo for myself, i guess i share your sentiment when it comes to one for myself, i have neutral feelings when it comes to other. In seeing where another who chooses this i welcome the view that the person truly sees beauty in whatever the tattoo may be and chooses to use the skin as a canvas. I see it as that person's desire to adorn that canvas. This did not come naturally for me, but now i'm able to affrim and appreciate it. Also, i do not do drugs. I started that poll, to 1. find out what the likely spread is on the forums of non-users/users; that was just curiosity. and.. 2. realising my resistance and slight disapproval of it, i sought to expose myself to the views and experiences of the wonderful people on these forums; for two reasons. the first was to expand my ideas on this by including in my thoughts of the activity and the experiences, so that i could loosen my opinions/considerations about it and learn to see the value in it that others did. What people shared there was invaluable in that regard. the second reason was that the great people here, by vitue of their maturity, balance and spiritual leaning, and also their openess, would let me see the approach and views on the activity from that level. This expanded my thoughts about a 'drug user'. Again i appreciate where people came from and i value it, the appreciation is greater because i can be aware, albeit impersonally, of their experience and what others find it while keeping my unwillingness to engage in it myself. It allows me to come at this from a greater point of balance, before i even consider the ethics of it. I case of drugs, ethics (in terms of the majority) is vitrually absent, it's almost always detrimental, but there is also the positive.. I agree that there is ugliness in both of these cases... but there is also beauty and a certain freedom.. ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Ankh - 03-06-2011 Number 1. Indigoblue and golden. Aaron - "What would you think if you saw another physical alien (like a grey) with a tattoo of a human on its ankle?? Wouldn't that be funny??" LOOOOL! That just made my day! ![]() RE: Tattoos? - BlatzAdict - 03-06-2011 I really think you should consult a tattoo artist because there are limitations as to the complexity a tattoo artist can or can not do. For that reason, find a good tattoo artist ![]() Go to a tattoo parlor and always ALWAYS ALWAYS look at their portfolio.. ALWAYS.. get a sense of their art style, and skill.. how complex can they draw? get a feel for their practices and work flow if u can ask. Many are methodological, while some just wing it.. I don't really go for the ones that just wing it because it's your body, and it's your money. Crop circles respond to exact measurements and angles.. With that said, print out those crop circles and others you might like, bring them to a tattoo artist and ask which ones CAN be done. Or wait for ET contact and get an ET to tattoo u... if they know how lololol RE: Tattoos? - Whitefeather - 03-07-2011 Since you asked our opinion... Why would you like or want a tattoo? ![]() It is sooo boring... you cannot change the design once you get it fixed under your skin! I cannot understand why anyone would want a tattoo... The more freedom, the better! Do you remember when the sheep were marked? It means that they belonged to a 'master' or at least that is our cultural background in the West. However, on the other hand, I understand that there are cultural traditional tattoos and, those are another matter... Otherwise, in my view, Western tattoos not good! ![]() Be well! ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Ankh - 03-07-2011 (03-07-2011, 06:04 AM)Whitefeather Wrote: Since you asked our opinion... Because we are all unique co-Creators that like different things in various or almost infinite ways. What one co-Creator finds beautiful might be ugly to another co-Creator, and that's the beauty of the creation. Crown - by the way, I forgot to tell you, I think that making a tattoo of crop circles is an unique and wonderful idea! It's almost that I would fancy that myself! ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Whitefeather - 03-07-2011 (03-07-2011, 06:54 AM)Ankh Wrote:(03-07-2011, 06:04 AM)Whitefeather Wrote: Since you asked our opinion... RE: Tattoos? - Meerie - 03-07-2011 Wow wow wow, I just voted for N° 3 and the total of votes for 3 is..... 33,33 %! Intuitively I would say, choose dark blue for the color. Anyway keep us updated and post the photo as soon as you get the tattoo ![]() I read Dolores Cannon "the convoluted universe" book and they mention that the crop circles are encoded messages about the creation of the Earth. So that is definitely something worth inking on your body. Great idea! RE: Tattoos? - Joe6 - 03-07-2011 Im not into tattoos personally but I have seen great tattoos and definetely dont judge anyone. Getting a crop circle tattoo is so unique idea that I almost immeadidly spotted number 2 and would get that into my back, in quite huge size. Ofcourse pro artist would know better how big. Since I dont know how detailed it can be that same could work on either side of the chest too. Green color would be very nice but ask from the pro that how the color fades in time. Though I think the colors can be fixed over time to get more vibrant. Just pick the one which resonates best with you. ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Horishi - 03-07-2011 Wow that's an awesome idea! Tattoo's are my expertise. I currently work at a tattoo shop as I'm learning the trade. I'm in a transition of careers as office work doesn't resonate with me anymore. Probably because office work is a fabricated society memory complex. As tattooing is more spiritual for me and has been around for at least 10,000 years. My vote would be on design #4 because out of all the designs its the best looking one to be tattooable with out any significant modifications. How big are you planning on getting it? The best location for about a palm sized tattoo for that without any distortions of the stencil would most likely be your back or upper arm near the shoulder. I thought about getting a big one first but now i think it would be nice to get a couple of small ones. Number 4 would look awesome if t was small and green. With small i mean a bit smaller than a palm size. Thanks for the reply, i never thought i'd get an opinion from someone who actually works in this business ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Richard - 03-08-2011 No ink for me. Was never drawn to permanent body art of any type. But hey...whatever melts your butter :o) Richard RE: Tattoos? - Meerie - 04-04-2011 Crown! are you here? I saw a documentary about crop circles last weekend and was thinking of your project... did you finally get a tattoo? ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Ankh - 04-04-2011 Oh my God! Talk about syncronicity! I was just talking to a friend at Facebook about tattoos. She had a tattoo of "Eye of Ra" and I told her that there was someone on B4th that had an unique idea in tattooing crop circles, and this thread shows up. Meerie - did you read my mind just right now? ![]() RE: Tattoos? - Meerie - 04-04-2011 OOOPS!!!!! wow! Something is definitely in the air. Could it be Neptune entering Pisces this afternoon is already affecting our psychic perception? I have been feeling more alert and highly strung these last days. Yes something is definitely up... Maybe Crown got that "Eye of Ra" tattoo, too? Crown! where are you? we need you here? ![]() ![]() |
