Spiritual Catalyst - Loki - 01-25-2022 Can any of you give me an example of spiritual catalyst? Physical catalyst is straight forward to understand: physical pain. Mental catalyst is also relatively simple to understand: living in fear for your life or for your health is I believe mental catalyst. But how about spiritual catalyst? Is living in fear for the life or health of the ones we love spiritual catalyst or is another kind of mental catalyst? RE: Spiritual Catalyst - Patrick - 01-25-2022 Crisis of Faith is a spiritual catalyst. Believing there is no point to any of it. These kind of catalysts help develop our faith in the Universe, which is of the nature of the kind of relationship that our spirit has with all there is. RE: Spiritual Catalyst - aWanderer91 - 01-25-2022 Spiritual catalyst involves all that you mentioned, as everything is spiritual in nature. However pure spiritual catalyst, would come in the form of a dark knight of the soul, initiation etc. As these test the will and faith tremendously. RE: Spiritual Catalyst - MonadicSpectrum - 01-25-2022 I think it might be helpful to clarify some terms first: mind, body, spirit, and catalyst. Quote:30.2 Questioner: Thank you. Would you define mind, body, and spirit separately? https://www.lawofone.info/s/30#2 Quote:Catalyst: a person or event that quickly causes change or action https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/catalyst So a bodily catalyst will be an event that quickly changes the physical structure of the body, a mental catalyst will be an event that quickly changes the thoughts, emotions, and intuition, and a spiritual catalyst will be an event that quickly changes one's relationship to intelligent infinity. I think it's also helpful to note that one event can simultaneously be a catalyst for the body, mind, and spirit depending on the nature of the catalyst. Let's look at some examples. Food is often a catalyst for both the body and the mind. Not only will with the nutrients ingested change the molecular structure of the body, but the food often changes the thoughts and feelings of the one who is eating such as being happy if the food is delicious or angry if the food is disgusting. In some cases such as the Eucharist, food can also be a spiritual catalyst whereby one partakes in a ritual that transforms how one relates to intelligent infinity. Pain is more of a mental catalyst, in my opinion, as pain is not transforming the structure of the body but is the result of what is happening in the body. Pain is usually a mental catalyst transforming the thoughts and feelings, but it can also be a spiritual catalyst if one begins to reject spiritual pursuits out of bitterness or decides to seek God more strongly as a result. Baptism can be a spiritual catalyst if one uses it as an opportunity to be "born again" in which the whole life transforms and one begins pursuing love and intelligent infinity instead of worlds pursuits such as temporary pleasure, wealth, and status. The death of a loved one is usually both a mental and spiritual catalyst. Not only does it transform one's thoughts and feelings, but it can again inspire one to reject the spirit or connect to it more strongly. Meditation is usually a physical, mental, and spiritual catalyst. The body rests and heals, the thoughts and emotions are often calmed down to silence, and the spirit begins building a stronger connection between the mind and intelligent infinity. RE: Spiritual Catalyst - Spaced - 01-25-2022 I can share some of my thoughts on this. In the archetype system that Ra teaches based on the tarot, the catalyst of the spirit is represented by the Star. Ra links this archetype with the ideas of faith and hope. The archetypes of the spirit share a theme of darkness and light. The matrix of the spirit is darkness, a state of attachment and identification with the illusion of our physical reality represented by the Devil. Then something occurs which shakes us from our complacency and hints at a greater reality, in a blinding flash the Tower comes crashing down and when the dust settles we are left in the darkness once more. We are left wondering, was it real? What did it mean? Did I imagine it? Have I been wrong this whole time? We can return to the mundane or we can set out into the darkness with only the guiding star of our faith to navigate with. This is the catalyst of the spirit. RE: Spiritual Catalyst - Patrick - 01-25-2022 Ra 93.12 Wrote:Then presently we receive catalyst of the mind as we are aware of Ra’s communication, and we receive catalyst of the body as our body senses all of the inputs to the body, as I understand it. But could Ra then describe catalyst of the spirit, and are we at this time receiving that catalyst also? And if not, could Ra give an example of that? And of course, there is this thread: https://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=5715 RE: Spiritual Catalyst - Sacred Fool - 01-25-2022 The illusion-born entity seeks the experience of its higher nature and begins the journey towards the heart of self and the Heart of All. In the process of dissociation from the illusion, much anguish may be incurred. On the other hand, the Spirit itself is untouched by the sadness of separation from Divinity for it knows eternally that All Is Well. The catalyst of the Spirit is some form or other which causes a recognition of that knowing deep within that you are one with the Creatrix. This is the sacred water which is continuously poured out for those who seek the sacred sanctuary of the heart. It is to enspirit them, to inspire them to continue traveling towards the celestial goal lived out in flesh. RE: Spiritual Catalyst - flofrog - 01-25-2022 I wonder if in the end a catalyst for the body, or the mental, in its final phase of processing doesn’t become a spiritual one, or rather feeds the Spirit or the heart as is above mentioned by SF. Perhaps you should begin your own thread: What is the Purpose of Catalyst? Or "Where does Catalyst Go When It Dies?" Or something like that?
