In terms of Creative Inspiration, I believe in a session with Ra, it was brought up that some Mind/Body/Spirit Complexes would be communicated with through the inspiration itself. The individual seeking a particular thing with intensity, would have the inspiration called to them from a "outside" source.
In terms of Temptation or perhaps even that which one may think of as negative, but doesn't believe it to have originated from directly within, Ra has spoken of 4th Density Orion Entities that offer such temptations, and from my own experience with other materials and my own life, there are entities on the inner planes of our density that seek out, feed on, and also offer the temptation for such thoughts too.
And for that which may just seem random in general, perhaps it bubbles up from the subconscious, or perhaps a channel to Intelligent Infinity/Energy has opened up for a line of discussion. In the latter situation, if interested in channeling, I'd suggest reading up from some of Carla's informative books upon channeling for things like challenging the entity in its purpose and such.

The source of learn/teaching is often meaningless as only the substance will contain the catalyst for the action. Efficacious service rarely benefits from 'ponderments' such as those in the OP's example. There's still nothing wrong there, of course. This is my understanding.
