Astral Healing - Anders - 09-29-2021
What is astral healing? And what do I mean by astral healing? What does even astral mean? First I thought of clearly defining it and then I got another idea to deliberately avoid explaining it which is more in the tradition of esoteric information. The risk with this approach of course is confusion and of spinning off on an astral tangent into woo woo land. The benefit is that it can, if done correctly, establish a higher abstraction level of knowledge compared to mainstream medicine and even to common alternative healing modalities.
My initial idea is to use astral crystals. There are different astral crystals for different forms of healing, spanning the whole spectrum of rainbow colors plus a transparent astral crystal for general healing. The red astral crystal works for both service-to-self and service-to-others polarization.

I'm fairly new to esoteric teachings and will use existing esoteric knowledge when possible. Rudolf Steiner had vast esoteric knowledge and he even has this lecture series about colors including Lecture 8 (from 4:25:00) Health and Illness in relation to the Theory of Colour (Dornach, 21st February, 1923).

Ra uses the colors of the 7 chakras in the Law of One and says that the red-ray body is the chemical body and also says that the green-ray body can be called the astral body. This can be seen as the ability to access and use astral crystals being dependent on the heart chakra. When using the red astral crystal, healing goes through the heart chakra and manipulates the chemicals of the red-ray body. The same goes for the all the other colored astral crystals.

The orange-ray body is the physical body complex. This body complex is still not the body you inhabit but rather the body formed without self-awareness, the body in the womb before the spirit/mind complex enters. This body may live without the inhabitation of the mind and spirit complexes. However, it seldom does so.
The yellow-ray body is your physical vehicle which you know of at this time and in which you experience catalyst. This body has the mind/body/spirit characteristics and is equal to the physical illusion, as you have called it.
The green-ray body is that body which may be seen in séance when what you call ectoplasm is furnished. This is a lighter body packed more densely with life. You may call this the astral body following some other teachings. Others have called this same body the etheric body. However, this is not correct in the sense that the etheric body is that body of gateway wherein intelligent energy is able to mold the mind/body/spirit complex.
The light body or blue-ray body may be called the devachanic body. There are many other names for this body especially in your so-called Indian Sutras or writings, for there are those among these peoples which have explored these regions and understand the various types of devachanic bodies. There are many, many types of bodies in each density, much like your own.
The indigo-ray body which we choose to call the etheric body is, as we have said, the gateway body. In this body form is substance and you may only see this body as that of light as it may mold itself as it desires.
The violet-ray body may perhaps be understood as what you might call the Buddha body or that body which is complete.
Each of these bodies has an effect upon your mind/body/spirit complex in your life beingness. The interrelationships, as we have said, are many and complex.
Perhaps one suggestion that may be indicated is this: The indigo-ray body may be used by the healer once the healer becomes able to place its consciousness in this etheric state. The violet-ray or Buddhic body is of equal efficacy to the healer for within it lies a sense of wholeness which is extremely close to unity with all that there is. These bodies are part of each entity and the proper use of them and understanding of them is, though far advanced from the standpoint of third-density harvest, nevertheless useful to the adept."

Rudolf Steiner said that the colors of the rainbow are fundamentally unreal. Instead, he said, the spectrum of colors is a result of light seen from darkness (such as sunrise) on one side which is red and darkness seen from light (like the daytime sky) on the opposite side that is blue, and between the two sides the colors of the rainbow are simply a gradation between the two opposite sides of red and blue.
My approach here is a middle way between Steiner's two-color explanation and Ra's seven color rays, with the three primary colors in additive color theory: red, green and blue.

My reason for using three colors instead of only two as Steiner did is that 1) the three additive primary colors can by blending them produce all colors (like the RGB colors in a computer screen), 2) to me those three colors represent the root chakra, the heart and the mind, and 3) I connect the three colors to Wilhelm Reich's three forms of orgone energy: positive orgone (POR) as red, neutral orgone (OR) as green, and deadly orgone (DOR) as blue.
My take on deadly orgone is that it's only bad when the green heart chakra neutral orgone connection is missing and with that connection established, deadly orgone becomes useful for providing structure. That connection is the same as what Ra calls green-ray activation without which deadly orgone is destructive and stuck in the lower astral.

Orgone is considered a pseudoscientific concept according to Wikipedia. That makes astral healing useful as a way of including what are considered pseudoscientific concepts.
My simple and boiled down version of astral healing is a red astral crystal to unlock trapped positive orgone, a green astral crystal for activating neutral orgone, and a blue astral crystal for turning deadly orgone into a constructive energy.

Ouch, I now realized that the simple version in my previous post, that's it! Nothing more needs to be done. As Ra said, everything is thought, so the astral crystals are thoughtforms. It's enough to have the thoughts about the astral crystals in mind for them to form. I'm looking into Wilhelm Reich's teachings at the moment and that may give additional clues about orgone but other than that I will just wait and see if there will be any practical healing results with the astral healing.

I found an explanation by Wilhelm Reich about what he called the body armor, which I think is deadly orgone trapped as tensions in the body. Reich's research and findings about the body armor are extremely important in my opinion. I will start a separate thread about it.

The red astral crystal gives us knowledge that there is no death and the blue astral crystal says that nothing can go wrong. The green astral crystal is the connection between the red and the blue crystal.
The red astral crystal is related to the whole body and to the black sun. The green astral crystal is for the cardiovascular system including the blood, and the blue astral crystal is for the nervous system including the brain and is related to the white sun. Interestingly, the green crystal turns the blood into gold (red + green = yellow/gold) esoterically speaking and is therefore the same, or at least similar to, the philosophers' stone in esoteric alchemy.

The blue pill in the Matrix movie can be connected to the nervous system too, but to the lower mind that's disconnected from the green astral crystal which causes the black sun to produce friction, conflict and spiritual entropy. The red crystal is already present, connected to the black sun yet without the green and blue astral crystals activated, the red crystal is only partly activated. And the red pill in the Matrix movie represents the path towards activating the green and blue crystals.

Then where is the green crystal in the Matrix movies? The curious answer is that the green crystal is represented by the baby face control center of the machine city which runs the Matrix (represented as the color green). That's why Neo sees the machine city as golden light with his esoteric vision because the philosophers' stone combines the red crystal with itself (the green crystal) into yellow/gold. And the combination of the green and blue crystals results in a cyan color which is seen in the third Matrix movie when the spaceship Neo and Trinity are traveling in briefly pierces through the blocked sky into a clear blue (cyan) sky.
Agent Smith represents the unhealed part of the black sun, and the Oracle represents the complete black sun (Agent Smith calls the Oracle 'mom' in one of the scenes). The Architect represents the blue crystal, at least some aspect of it, because Agent Smith going rouge is the lack of both the green and blue crystals and represents the 8th sphere where the blue crystal is missing. Neo takes the red pill that leads him to the blue crystal (the Architect) and to the green crystal (the machine world control center) and obliterates the 8th sphere by merging with Agent Smith resulting in a healed and fully activated red crystal. In this way the Matrix movies can be interpreted as esoteric symbolism for higher healing.

The magnum opus in esoteric alchemy commonly has four stages: blackening, whitening, yellowing and reddening. Since the red crystal is related to the black sun does it belong to the blackening stage or to the reddening stage? The answer is that although the blackening stage indeed is connected to the black sun it's a stage of decomposition, of breaking down the body armor, and the even though the red crystal is always present it cannot be fully activated until the body armor has dissolved. Otherwise it would just lead to a strengthening of the body armor and more disease instead of healing.
Instead the red crystal in fully activated form is represented by the last stage, the reddening stage. The blue crystal represents the white sun and that's the whitening stage. And the green crystal is for the yellowing stage where the black sun and the white sun become integrated into a harmonious whole symbolized by red + green = yellow(ing)/gold. So the healing process from an alchemic perspective is first the blackening stage where the body armor is dissolved, then the whitening stage is activated by the blue astral crystal replacing the conflicting mind that builds the body armor with a healed mind without a buildup of body armor. Then after that the green crystal starts to blend with the red crystal into a healing golden energy, and the last stage is the reddening stage where the red crystal has become fully activated resulting in a healed body and mind.

Here I found a video where Osho explains an insight that was new to me. He said that we must enter a state of total confusion for the mind to become clear. That's similar to the idea I have that confusion is caused by the false belief in separation which also is a cause of the body armor. What was new to me is that the confusion must be total in order to transcend it. So the transparent crystal which is the screen of consciousness becomes visible via total confusion! And that's useful for the blackening stage necessary to go through before the blue crystal is activated in the whitening stage. Higher healing then begins with entering a state of total confusion. Ordinarily the mind frantically tries to avoid confusion and moves into fear which at least serves a purpose for the separate mind. So it's a simple yet radical approach to enter a state of total confusion.

Something that can seem scary is that Osho said going into total confusion brings clarity but it's through the dark night of the soul. And Gigi Young said the same thing about the black sun and the blackening stage! That it means entering the dark night of the soul.
Fortunately the dark night of the soul can be avoided by recognizing that all thoughts are concepts. That's where the transparent astral crystal comes into the picture. The transparent crystal contains all concepts yet is itself unattached to them. It's when the mind clings to the thoughts through separate personal identification that the difficulty of going into total confusion remains.

I now realized a tricky situation where thinking about the blue crystal is just a mental idea. It's NOT enough as I may have said earlier. Because without having gone through the blackening stage the mind is still operating as a separate entity and all that has to be transmuted through the blackening stage and the transparent crystal. Then after the blackening stage it's enough to have the blue crystal as a thought for it to manifest, so in that context what I wrote earlier is correct.

In astral healing the blackening stage is a burning away of that which is false within us, including the belief in death and that things can go wrong. Even the idea of healing being needed is burned away. The green astral crystal establishes the reality that everything is already healed.

When trying to consciously entering the blackening stage I experienced increased suffering. The black sun is absolutely enormous as Gigi Young explained and it actually represents our whole reality in the form of the past. So I guess one shouldn't underestimate the difficulty of dealing with the blackening stage.
I suspect that one mistake I made was to forget about the transparent crystal and got caught in worrisome thinking. To access the transparent crystal is challenging and it's like the spiritual enlightened state that nonduality teachers and others have talked about. What I will experiment with is to use an intermediate step of going into direct feelings and emotions. Even that is challenging but at least something that can be practiced by instead of dwelling on troubling thoughts to focus on feelings and emotions only and in that way transmute them into inner peace along with dissolving the painful thoughts.

Oh! I now received an additional insight when I started the new practice of going into direct feelings and bypassing thoughts. And something surprising was that it reduced my suffering instead of as usual increasing it. The new insight is that I can combine the direct feeling with the state of total confusion that Osho talked about.
Usually the mind is heavily conditioned to avoid confusion and when trying to consciously focus on confusion the result is ordinarily of increased suffering. Pretty horrible. The amazing discovery is that when combining the state of total confusion with going into direct feelings instead of thinking, the suffering is reduced! And it makes sense in the light of the transparent astral crystal which in itself is unaffected by content such as thoughts. I will continue this practice to see if more suffering can be dissolved this way.

The blue astral crystal represents the white sun and the total pull into the future. In order to activate the blue astral crystal it's necessary to go through the blackening stage.
To speed up the blackening stage the blue crystal can be accessed in an unfinished form, almost like building the blue crystal from scratch. The false sense of separation prevents the blue crystal from forming, because then we believe that we need to use our own mind and thinking to pull ourselves into the future. That's a mistaken perspective with a false belief in a personal pull separate from the white sun pull of all of reality into the future.
As an example, if I believe I need to manage my future personally, that's sin, meaning missing the mark of the white sun causing a fractured perspective of the black sun. And even if I "let go and let God" that too is sin. Why? Because again that's a false sense of separation between me and some separate God that I have conjured up in my mind. What needs to be let go of is the idea of having to manage one's personal future separately from the rest of reality.
