Which versions of the life of Jesus have you found most inspirational or useful?

The New Testament versions felt off-base to me.
Three sources that resonated with me more than the Bible:

Aquarian Gospel of Jesus

Edgar Cayce’s Story of Jesus by Jeffrey Furst. Includes previous supposed incarnations of Jesus.

They Walked with Jesus by Dolores Cannon
hypnotherapy sessions with people who supposedly had contact with Jesus

The Gnostic gospel versions (I didn't get too deep) felt right, especially once learning about how the formation of the church worked. Without reincarnation and karma, nothing makes sense. I was raised Catholic and the metaphysics never made any sense, and I never connected and left at 12. Between the Gnostic Gospels, LoO and ACIM (I have only surface knowledge, been putting it off for some reason), they resonate much better.

The problem is that there were multiple people named yeshua back then and also multi incarnations.

It just gets complicated.

Acim melds the ego with higher self but works better for those fasting, no alcohol, no sex, no coffee, no stimulants.

If you have any kind of phhysical crutch, acim can instigate an initiation crisis before you are ready. Hence many can read it but they will be safe if they ignore the workbook.

Re ACIM
I found the language to be very challenging. Instead of reading directly from it, I felt more uplifted by reading books by people gifted at explaining ACIM such as Marianne Williamson (“Return to Love”), Doreen Virtue, and Jerry Jampolsky ("Love is Letting Go of Fear")

To me, Gnostic viewpoints are mind-expanding partly because they communicate concepts about Jesus and Christ without dogmatically claiming there was a flesh and blood Jesus as described in the New Testament gospels.

Besides reading some of the Gnostic gospels, I have enjoyed studying Elaine Pagels books on the subject.
Also the viewpoint of modern gnostics Peter Gandy and Timothy Freke (The Jesus Mysteries).

There has been controversy on which were written first and who influenced/borrowed from who – the New Testament Gospels or Gnostic gospels.

Yes it's Elaine Pagels that is mostly my 'historical' basis, which is interesting that I gravitated towards her writings as I'm not really a reader and generally why away from such material. Eventually I was led to the LOO not long after when looking for Gnostic content on YouTube.

I think the Gospels are some of the purest books of the New Testament. There are “hidden” Gospels that were not included in the Bible, where Jesus talked about reincarnation, for example.

Religion puts a lot of overlay on the words and life of a Jesus, but when I read the Gospels by myself I found them to be beautiful. Jesus had no such distortion like religion does regarding Christianity. I think a lot of Christians today do not truly “hear” the Christ. As in, not understanding the essence of his message.

One of the most interesting legends regarding Jesus, in my opinion, is the story of Yeshua as a child. He got angry with a playmate and accidentally fatally wounded the boy and he died. This was a shocking experience for Yeshua because it was not his intention to fatally wound the boy. I believe it to be an energetic thing. It was by accident. Yeshua did not know his abilities or how to use them yet. This in turn catalyzed Yeshua’s seeking to know himself.

Yeshua was a rabbi by the age of 12. He went to the wise men of his society and eventually left home and sought elsewhere. It was when Yeshua returned to Israel that he had his awakening with John the Baptist in the river Jordan. Then Yeshua wandered the desert for 40 days and 40 nights being tempted by the Devil. (Recall the Buddha’s temptation from Maya; essentially the same principle). Yeshua returned as the Christ and taught all those who would hear him.

Yeshua went to those in society who were cast out and disregarded (think about that in terms of our modern world).

Yeshua was humble. He didn’t ask anyone to follow him. He wasn’t doing it for praise. He literally got on his knees and washed the feet of his hosts, this was a symbolic humble act in those times. Yeshua was a servant of the Lord.

His Life and teachings are a golden example for us to follow. NOT what the religionists says, but what the Christ taught, it was very simple:
Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart and strength,
Love thy enemy as thine neighbor.

Even Ra said in the Ra Material that the simplicity of these teachings escapes the minds of many people. It’s not difficult: love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness.

These are the qualities of the open heart. The open heart puts in touch with intelligent infinity. “As I do these things, so shall you, and greater.”

The records i saw said he hit him in chest and the heart stopped. Yeshua then applied the reverse energy and revived the boy. This xp shocked yeshua enough he went to india seeking control of these powers.

Now a days we have foot massage and reiki healers. Are thry not also hidden christ ones?

The observation and judgement decision watching christian groups and man made churches is that they behave as if they understand love. So when they are obeying dogma and beating on their fellows to win converts, they believe this is love. Sorta like abusive relationships are based on love.

This twisting of understanding is due to individual and dna trauma. They dont know what that word means. They have bypassed or suppressed.

I've seen people get healthy (mind/body) then all of a sudden develop gifts, then they fall off the wagon and get downgraded. That's why shadow work is so important, you need those lower energy centers balanced to properly handle the higher ones. And I do believe alot are being suppressed by their higher selves/helpers as a safety mechanism. Not to mention gaming the system could have other repercussions....

Nah. These are a couple books that detail Y'Shua and him being an Essene Priest. I am sure others have read these books before. There is more than one book. A fast search will give results.
The Dead Scrolls as well...
The Gospels found in the New Testament is good as well, but, there has been a little tampering with both old and new testament and then on top of that, there are blinds put in place to purposely throw off some of the readers.
