Hello everyone,
I was wondering if you could enLIGHTen me on this topic, LOL…
When doing some exercices on how to see auras, some people reported they saw me entirely covered in light-green light. Does the color of the aura correspond to the rays? Like if it is green, does that mean that green-ray was activated in that moment?
Some guy saw a bright corona around my head, would that then mean that the crown chakra was open? He also saw what looked like an orange-colored ball of energy in front of my stomach, so maybe this refers orange ray?

Meerie, there's a very detailed, very long-running discussion in the Ra books about the different colors of spiritual rays and how they are open or closed in the lives of spiritual seekers. From lawofone.info, search for terms like "green ray" and "crown chakra" and you'll get right into the midst of these discussions. Try a search for "Albert Martin" and you'll get to Ra's discussion of the spiritual color balance of Albert Schweitzer and MLK.
Also try the search engine here in the forum. Chakras, rays, opening the colors, and so on have had some in-depth discussion topics here already. I think it's safe to say that most serious students of the Law of One consider the whole area of opening and balancing the colors to be a very important goal of spiritual development.

I would add, Meerie that one would be wise to take in other people's impressions very slowly, same as if someone you don't know said to you, "Oh, you look like such a (fill in the blank) person." What they tell you might reflect their own personal distortions as much as anything else.
On the other hand, doing exercises of that sort and such can be a good way of developing your own intuitive perception of these aspects of relative phenomena.

Your clothing will put out an aura also. There is "color" aura and "energy" aura. Kind of hard to differentiate if you are a beginner.

From what I can tell (due to experience), people's aura colors can shift with their moods, their physical health or whatever stimulus they are encountering at the moment. Even the color of a person's clothes can affect what is visible to the eyes. I would never judge a person's personality on their aura colors.

I don't know a whole lot, except I tend to see a blue hint of light around people.
I have felt the rays going through my chakras. Feels like a laser-beam of light.
When I was first opening up the chakras in the last month, I felt them burning
away impurities, and as I can best tell, becoming crystalline.
That had some stinging sensations as my chakras ran hot.
I can't see auras, but I can at times tune in and get a feeling in another person
of how their chakras may be aligned and such.
Yeah, I too have felt how clothing can put out it's own aura. When I went to shop
for clothes at Walmart a month ago, the clothes spoke to me in certain ways.
I could tell right off which clothing resontated with me, by which felt great.
Colors can help balance the chakras by supplimenting those areas that we may be weak in.
For me, I've found that chakras have different intensities. The blue chakra is said
by Ra to the glaringly bright if I have the right term.
For me, it's the blue of the 3rd eye which some say is indigo. Widsom ray is probably
the strongest sensation I've ever felt, next to another blue emotional ray that I
stumbled upon in my work.
And by closing down or opening chakras we can affect the intensity.
They aren't all the same intensity I've found in order to keep balance.
Some chakras are meant to handle more current.

Start looking at your hand first, it's easier. Easiest is in a dark room, put a kind of spotlight on your hand. Make sure your eyes or the background aren't in the light. Move your hand slightly as if following gentle waves. Looking across the hand or through the fingers you'll see a small band of whitish smokish lightish stuffish...
That's not the aura
It's your etheric double body, it's easier to see. The aura is more subtle. Most people start by trying to see the etheric double and practice on that double untill they see the aura.For comparison the etheric body double extends about 1 or 2 centimeters from the body. The aura usually extends up to a meter. For some people that's over 10 meters.
Do be aware, if you're looking too strongly at something (like a lamp) you'll see after effects. That's why the wavy motion is in there. Keep moving as not to build up the after effect.
It's not hard, 10 years ago I could get people to see it with 10 minutes instruction. Awesome party trick
I'm not even good at it myself. I'm lousy at seeing colors, unfortunately this extends to seeing auras.You can also easily learn to feel the aura, your own or someone elses. If anyone feels interested I'll post the steps.

Ok, to feel the aura.
Kick back somewhere, a lazy chair or on your bed, relax, and use whatever method or meditation seems appropriate. Then hold your arms outstretched in front of you and off to the sides. So there is a pretty wide gap between your hands. An angle of 90 degrees between your arms should do. Then slowly bring them together and note the feeling in your hands. You should begin to feel a pressure or warmth in your hands growing as they move closer together. Move them apart and the feeling should subside. Just play with it, that's already the aura you're feeling.
If you got that down just point the palm of your preferred hand towards your face, turn it about a bit so your palm is not facing your face all the time. Imagine there is a stream of energy coming from there. Because there is. And let it touch your face or miss it by moving your hand about. You should feel the difference on your forehead cheekbones lips nose and chin, all the protruding bits.
The chakras in the palms of the hands project a lot of energy, this is why the hands are often used in psychic healings. This is why massage can feel so good it strengthens the auric field and causes feelings of security warmth and wellbeing. The aura around the hands is also relatively strong and we can actually feel the density of the field around us with it. The face and third eye are sensitive enough for that too but do not project as strongly.

It builds your perhipheral vision, which is what sees the aura.
I don't see them brilliantly, since that's not my gift.
It is just awkward for me to be staring at someone to see the aura build. But I've walked at dusk and the white rocks appear to be glowing. So I found it's easier to see when it's not too bright.

The other day I was walking through a Target, and I became acutely aware of the energies of the clothes displayed in the store. In fact, I was acutely aware of the energy of each object, from floor tile to potted plant. I just started drinking in all the different energies. I was like I was tasting them, but with my soul. So many different flavors, and I was free to enjoy them now that I realized they were there. A whole new level of awareness. A very enjoyable experience.
I tend to act mostly out of my sense of touch, so extremely soft clothing usually has the best energy to me.

That's where I learned from also LoL. Try using a navy blue, dark blue stone to focus on. Once I got it down, it is possible to see it glowing even in darkness. Dark blue will put off a yellow glow.

Here was a picture of my aura I got taken today. The woman who did it said she could see many guides standing over me.
Basically the same colors I see when I look at my aura in the mirror.

You know...
Green are people who love being in harmony and strengthen balances around themselves. The lighter blue expresses calmth, kindness, devotion, an emotional presence. The darker blues inching towards the purples, are the intuitive and spiritual sides. Having them lighter means they're there and unhindered, when they become intenser it means the occasional friction in the outflow is also experienced there.
I think a lot of us would have similar colors. As we share those values and experiences.
But at the same time I don't think I would rely on these photos too much. I knew one guy who sees auras whether he wants to or not, it's just part of his normal vision. He made it very clear that as far as he is concerned that's just computers superimposing images and colors according to some biofeedback measurement. Usually you have to hold or touch some device. The image is modeled to look like the descriptions of the aura by reports from people who can see them. So it's at best only a very limited approximation.
I'd rely on what you see in the mirror. If you can see it that's better than a photo.

Ali, I only got this picture taken to compare it to what I see in the mirror. I simply found it interesting that the colors were similar. And the lady who took the picture and interpreted it hit a lot of things spot on, so I think coupled with intuitive interpretation, it can be a fairly useful tool.
