I just visited Carla's blog and noticed that Friday was her birthday.
I realize she's not active on the forums but did want to be sure to say:
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
for your wonderful devotion to light, love, and learning!
I've not had the privilege of talking directly with Carla or Jim. But from what I've read, I have to say that your life work of openness to the Creator's infinite universe has been so healing and transforming, so challenging and inspiring, to so many people including myself.
It's hard to put into words the gratitude and admiration for your service as humble messenger, seeker, team member and teacher. Especially when that service has had tremendous physical and financial cost, compared to other paths that might have been a lot easier to walk and to explain; cost which is seldom even mentioned, but very real and very awe-inspiring dedication.
I feel I would have really hit it off with Don Elkins if I'd had the chance to meet him. To express my gratitude for the depth and clarity and open-mindedness of his studies, and just to chat with him. I'm happy to be able to honor his legacy at this forum, a place to discuss the many concepts he intuitively felt were important to inquire about at every opportunity. Every time I read more in the Ra books, I'm reminded of the Tony Robbins motto: "To get a better answer, ask a better question!" No question that in any Q&A, the Q's are very important and he was the master.
Along my own attempts to better comprehend this material, I probably hit some snags, blind spots, confusion and misstatements due to my own limitations. I apologize for those times of not serving the material as well as it deserves.
I also saw that Carla's journal mentioned enough relief from pain, at least for now, to be able to do some typing at long last. As someone who also likes to think through my fingers, I'm grateful to learn of that reprieve.
Don't know if I'll be able to get to Kentucky this September, and I realize there's a lot of preparation for that and other projects underway that make great use of limited physical energy. So while there may well not be time for any 3D response here, which I totally respect, I felt it was important as an avid forum user to take a moment to celebrate the person whose willing heart of loving service is the reason we have so many provocative and edifying things to discuss around here!

what a beautiful post questionner, i agree absolutely with what you've written, and am immensely grateful for Carla's work, it has certainly changed my life for the better and i suspect it has changed the lives of many, many people

hangers10, it's interesting that your nephews apparently have the same birthday as Carla. Do you think there is some kind of spiritual connection that might make their life as much of a blessing to others as her life is?
