We love
you.
But
we need
to get
away.
We learned
a lot
here.
But we
can’t
stay.
We learned
new ways
of loving.
But we
no longer
wish to
fight.
We mourn
yet
for dearest
Alexandria.
We grieve
still
for our
shining cities
upon the hill.
But
this cycle
has ended.
Our choice
has been
made.
We are
the seeds
of the
harvest.
We are
the bounty
of what
was
sewn.
The time
of planting
has ended.
The children
of light
must go
home.
