Which value is the most important or valuable to you? - Night Owl - 08-30-2016

While meditating on this I found I most deeply resonated with peace. It took me a while to find it and now I don't think I would trade peace for anything. As long as things are peaceful, minds are peaceful and relationships are peaceful, I'll always be satisfied with myself and the projection of my outer reality. What is the most important value to you, the one that you would not compromise for anything?

Here is a list in case you want some ideas:

Edit: I suppose you can pick multiple if that's too hard. There's nothing wrong with having multiple values at heart.

Not sure I'd have come up with that without the list, but I think I'll go with awe.

There's something to discovering and beholding the greatness of existance (outside/within self). The awe found in seeking and discovery as Creator is probably why I wander.

Peace wouldn't be too far down my list, one of the hardships of my psychedelic journeys was adapting to having others' energy enter my field and trouble my inner peace. Got used to it while on psychedelics and even took a liking to it (more with disincarnate entities than humans though..) but I still require quite a lot of work to shatter this inner shell that closes off my emotional body. Anyway, on-going daily work.

You will never get off your lazy ass without purpose.
I rest my case.

Do you have to work, or have a desk job where you can sit and do that?

I sit a lot, but get up every so often to walk around so I don't get blood clots in my legs.

Ah, so purpose is the real value.

Intimacy

Free will / self-determination.

For what it's worth, this is precisely the kind of thinking I have to do in order to challenge effectively in a channeling scenario (I'm reading Carla's Channeling Handbook at present) so I appreciate the opportunity to think on it.

Joy, because what is the point of existing if there is no joy? Without joy, eternity would be utterly drab and pointless.

RE: Which value is the most important or valuable to you? - Plenum - 09-08-2016

Intelligence.

as it obviously qualifies both infinity and energy.

"Again, the violet emanation is, in this context, a resource from which, through indigo, intelligent infinity may be contacted. The radiation thereof will not be violet ray but rather green, blue, or indigo depending upon the nature of the type of intelligence which infinity has brought through into discernible energy.

The green-ray type of radiation in this case is the healing, the blue-ray the communication and inspiration, the indigo that energy of the adept which has its place in faith."

I think we need a thread on this. I'd enjoy hearing more.

I'd say love, but that'll be a misconception

Oh, I think perhaps I gave you a misconception.  I merely meant that actually thinking about one's highest values is something the channeling handbook talks about -- not that there's some connection between free will and channeling.

I would add beauty to the list. Not only individual beauty but the beauty that is to be found in everything that is.

Also so far I notice these 3 things:

1- it took 23 answers before love is mentioned even if it is at the core of all things

2- Is any of these worth without the others? It seems like proof to me that each creator even though having a sense of desire for unity is proud to experience seperation in order to explore each values that are most important to them.

3- The creator has a tendancy toward the positive spectrum of values. Or maybe that is bring4th. What would you think are the values of a completely opposite forum where people would all be STS?

Pst I picked intimacy because people's very private thoughts, emotions, feelings, and even fears make me love that person I won't say more but in a more focused way.
The times when people show you who they are, even when showing their rougher side, I cherish it because though that I get to know those I love even more.

Intimacy focuses love. Smile

Might be why love gets distorted so much, we love to make something other with it.

I personnaly think things would be dull without constrast, but then again there'd be no constrast to allow that to be known.
