Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - Parsons - 05-05-2016 So recently, I made this post in the generic music thread. Please read the post or this thread won't make sense: http://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthread.php?pid=206528#pid206528 I started letting go of the experience after posting that... A little while ago, I was delivering some food to someone (I am working for Postmates while I'm trying to find employment). Just before I turned into the neighborhood where the delivery was, I caught a glimpse of a pigeon sitting in the middle of a busy road. It looked like roadkill at first glance, but I thought I saw it's head looking around. I immediately recognized it for catalyst mirroring my feelings about the song. After my delivery, I parked near where I saw the bird and prepared myself to do exactly what happened in the song. I walked over to discover that the bird was not only alive, but merely stunned with no visible major injuries; both it's wings were okay and it's neck was not broken (unlike the song). I made sure to wait until it was safe, and half picked it up / half shooed out of the road and behind a brick wall to prevent it from walking back into the road. As I drove away consumed with emotion, a flock of pigeons took off and flew just above my car... RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - Jade - 05-05-2016 Awesome. RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - YinYang - 05-06-2016 That's amazing, Parsons, and I'm glad to hear that you're doing okay! Doves have always been part of my synchronicities as well, I also successfully raised one a few years ago for the first time, when I was a kid they always died. Lately though, I have seen many dead doves in the garden, and another kind of dead bird on my walk, thinking this must be very ominous tidings... until I immersed myself again in my readings, and what kept catching my eye was death/rebirth. First saw it in Eckart Tolle's book, then in Joel Goldsmith, Quo sessions, Wanderer's handbook... and then I started feeling better, realising that I must be going through some transition or death of sorts, the dying off of things which is ready to fall away... RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - Minyatur - 05-06-2016 I had an intense mirroring catalyst (trash) not long ago. I was in a friend's car and we were going somewhere. My friend had a drink but all his drink holding things had something in them so he took one mcdonald goblet and asked if I thought it was alright to throw it outside. Gave him the feeling I thought that was dumb and so he didn't throw it. Then we left and very few minutes later a car from the opposite direction of the road threw quite a lot mcdonald trash right between the car we were in and the one in front of us. The trash looked majestic in the air as if time stood still. Was a neat synchronocity, of which the meaning is up to intepretation I guess. RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - Jade - 05-06-2016 That portion of the road was begging for litter. Preventing one person from performing the 'negative' act did not prevent it from happening - its vibrational resonance was already set. You just helped your friend avoid participating in the unconscious draw to be disrespectful to his surroundings. RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - I am Shayne - 05-06-2016 So i check out bring4th sometimes while at work. Today I came across this thread. A few minutes after, my boss (who is Costa Rican) and I are talking and we hear "hey Jude" by the Beatles come on, and he said that his whole life he thought they were saying "hey you", which was mildly synchronistic. Right afterward I go outside to check the model number of a machine, and two black birds land on the structure i was next to, and they start chirping defensively, then several other black birds and a red finch land in my vicinity and all start chirping at eachother. Not a major occurence by any means, but i thought it was interesting seeing a bit of mirroring with this thread regarding music and the birds. I just thought i'd put my share of experience in the mystery of the subject RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - native - 05-08-2016 Thanks for sharing Parsons. The day you posted this, all the symbols you mentioned in this thread and the other were exactly the same things I was dealing with that day as well. Birds, bricks, walls, windows. Pretty psychedelic. Some advice..unless an animal is writhing in horrific pain, take it to the vet instead of carrying out what seems to be the inevitable. I once killed a bird with a brick because its wing bone was sticking out and it was a terrible experience. The bird's future seemed hopeless, but why did I just assume that? I let it hang out in my garden for a few days but I couldn't see past a certain point and just made an assumption, without even really thinking to take it to the vet. The fact that I didn't think to take it to the vet based on what my mind saw, rather than just trying, really ate me up. I finally found out the name of this song which I had been looking for the day you shared this, and the lyrics have meaning not to mention the album cover. I guess I should say I thought of taking it to the vet, but didn't think the vet could do anything. My mind thought, what hope for a bird is there if it can't fly? I guess I could have kept it as a pet, but just assumed it would always be trying to get away, only to be caught by some predator or starve to death. RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - I am Shayne - 05-08-2016 So crazy haha correlations in lives across the world Oh and another thing i just remembered: On the morning of reading this thread, i was walking to work and saw a crow with a missing foot. I thought, what a catalyst for that bird. If i was that bird, how could i learn to appreciate that catalyst? I visualized myself in its life and found appreciation in the fact that i, the bird, couldnt land on telephone wires. " I could only land on the ground. I would have to be more on the lookout for predators. And many other situations i didnt think of. I would engage in catalyst that other crows may never experience. There is much to appreciate in having an amputated foot." And i realized that the birds missing foot is my own catalyst as well. Because i was able to learn something from its experience. On the other side, the fact that my own hand is broken (bicycle incident) is not only MY catalyst. It affects other people too. For instance, because I require others to lift things, etc for me at times. Everything is connected. RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - Parsons - 06-12-2016 I've been debating on whether to share this or not; obviously I decided on the former. I delivered to the same house and discovered the corpse of the pigeon laying a few feet away from where I left the injured bird. Apparently it did suffer fatal injuries. Many questions come to mind: Should I have mercy killed it? Did I do the 'right' thing and let 'nature' run it's course? Or is there no right or wrong answer? RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - Jade - 06-12-2016 No right or wrong, IMO. It seems like being there for it in its lifetime and recognizing its spark as the Creator was the service it needed from you. RE: Intense Mirroring Catalyst (bird) - native - 06-12-2016 That stinks. I think that because it hardly moved from where you put it, it probably didn't last long. So hopefully there was little suffering. |
