I found this NDE account on the internet.
I really enjoyed it, and wanted to share it because the individual who experienced it is well equipped to describe the subtleties of the experience that many people miss, or simply don't have the awareness to properly describe. That is to say, I felt much less distortion in his account than I find in many others. Enjoy.

In a manner of speaking, you do. I think what he was trying to communicate was that there is no space, and there is no time. And in the absence of space, the meetings are a mental one, which, if you wanted, could be translated in a "physical way", which is what you see in most NDE accounts.
Really, if you want my opinion, it is the difference between being on a higher plane, and a lower plane. The lower the plane, the more the after death experience is going to resemble your physical one (these would be astral after death scenarios). The higher the plane, the more "intangible" the experience becomes, such as what this gentleman experienced, which appears to be more of a mental plane after death scenario.

Do you know much about the Causal plane? And what happens there?
How does one experience on that plane?
It's above the mental plane I believe.

Unfortunately, I do not have any experience that I consciously recall with the causal plane. I have had what I believe to be mental plane projections, which were similar in many ways to the structure of what this man described, but I'm not sure what a causal projection would look like. I believe it is the area of our consciousness where our beliefs are held though, and constitutes the sixth sub density (indigo ethereal body). I've heard some authors say it is where the "glue" to our reality down here exists, and contains the pure archetypes of all our earthly structures.

And the Buddhic plane is the 7th subdensity. I've heard that we carry out our desires on this plane after we pass on for those desires we held on Earth. No desire goes unfulfilled.
Maybe Aion can help with the causal plane.
