I feel like I'm talking to myself, so I'm deleting this.

Hi Kaaron. I think the basic issue is that you're proposing something that isn't covered in the materials, and there's no real way of saying whether it's true or not. Ra has been a guardian of Earth for tens (or hundreds) of thousands of years and has undoubtedly sent many, many Wanderers down over the millennia. Maybe some of them were among the Maori? There's really no good way to say. But if you find things in the Ra materials that resonate with your own spirituality, well, just run with it. Whether or not Ra gave your people a visit in the past doesn't have much bearing on what you do with his teachings today.

As for the bird quote, from what I've seen there's been a lot of debate over what he actually meant by it. My own belief is that he was -gently- poking fun at Don and inviting him to "unask the question" as the Buddhists say. Whether someone wants to take ANY discrete event as A Sign is really just up to them, as is what they do with the belief. Any question of the supposedly objective meaning of the bird (or Ra's teachings) is far less important than its subjective value and how we choose to react to it.

ok.
I'll keep it to myself.
Thankyou

I wasn't saying you needed to shut up and go away or anything like that. I'm just saying that you aren't really giving us much to go on here, especially since -no offense- I'm guessing that very few people here know anything about Maori beliefs. Perhaps you could start a new thread and go into more detail about the parallels you see between your own beliefs and the Ra Materials...?

OK.
I felt that there were definite parallels between the fact that Kahukura means Hawk School and that Ra appears as a hawk in Egyptian hieroglyphs and he's known to share information.
Also, it means double arched rainbow in which each bow represents male for the upper and female for the lower...or balanced energy...unity...one.
It also means "red cloak" which the the hopi, Aztec/Mayan, Sioux and others mention when referring to the messiah that will come out of the east. Over a dozen Maori cheifs in New Zealand from the nineteenth through the early twentieth centuries have laid claim to the title. No other race has.
To me, this implies that the messiah will be teaching the Law of One, as passed on by Ra, through Carla.

I said all of this and was at a loss as to how you thought it didn't relate to the Law of One. So I deleted it as I assumed, due to the lack of interest in the subject, You were right.

I will think out a better explanation for my concepts and repost a more cohesive thread.
Thankyou for pointing out my oversight...now that I think about it, I was in a "WHOA I GOTTA GET THIS OUT" mood when I wrote it lol.
Letting the idea come to full fruition would have been more beneficial for us.
Thanks again Smile
