I don't garden, but I can channel and talk to trees.

The one in my yard said "wind, remarkable."

I missed this post back when it was first posted.  You have to be careful with this plant.  In Texas it has become a noxious invasive.

My gardening has had to move inside for the winter.
Thankfully lights are getting so efficient energy wise you can grow a good selection of food or foliage plants year round even here up north. Mostly I just have topicals inside but the green stuff growing is sure good for the mind/energy come February when everything is grey outside I can go into the basement and putter in the dirt. This is the first of what I hope will be a good stream of gardening pictures from the 2021 season.  We have a couple of rows of beautiful spinach which we have been enjoying lately.  I plant it in October so I have spinach before anyone else locally.  On the right you can see rye which I planted as a winter cover crop.

Baautiful Eddie !! Heart cant wait to see more..

May I ask you one thing, how do you attach your photos... I work on mac and have a terrible time uploading pics..

RE: Anyone else enjoy gardening? - Eddie - 04-18-2021

I have a mac too. The first thing I do is to reduce the file size. I use a utility called IResize for that. Then, I post the photo to postimages.org, so that the photo has a URL. After that, I just paste the photo URL into the "post image" utility on Bring4th. I can do all of that in about 20 seconds.

Your gardens are always so impressive Eddie. I look forward to visiting them this summer. Maybe one of your amazing green garden smoothies will be in the works too?

You may drink all of the green smoothies at my house that you wish, in fact we need help consuming greens at this point......but with the rise in temperature, they are starting to bolt, and within the week I'll have tilled them up.  So you'll need to show up in the next few days...... Tongue

Don't worry, there will be something local here whenever you arrive.

A few years back, we planted some strawberries in one of our concrete planters.  They sent out runners and escaped their containment, into our rock-mulched flower bed nearby.  They spread.  Now we have volunteer strawberries....we don't tend them, we just don't weed them out.

We have a neighbor who has 6 acres, and treats his property as a small farm.  He invited us over to pick raspberries a few days ago:

My wife made some of them into preserves:

Me with my little patch of corn.  2 weeks ago, it was just waist high!  The weather has been hot, and we've had a LOT of rain.

Gary (Steppingfeet) and his lovely wife Trish dropped by for a visit, and we took a proof-of-life photo by the corn..

Flowering tobacco around our gazebo.  These plants release their delightful fragrance only at night, as their pollinators (who are in the Saturniid moth order) are active only nocturnally.
