It happened me, I had a period like that, too. For a while nothing was happening apart from vague visions. One day you'll feel ready to act, you'll see. Paradoxically you can help this by releasing (Sedona Method is my best one for it) and Pleasure Practice (for identifying one's heart's desires and mission). Business: I followed my intuition and the synchronicities ;-). I'm a psychologist but I have never been happy with mainstream psychology. Too much in the head and not enough space for magic. Overcoming my own challenges helped me find methods that work and develop my own methods.
When I followed my heart, things started clicking into place. Impossible things, miracles. Magic, I tell ya.

Haha, that story about hatching is a nice synchronicity. Seem to be bumping into dragons a lot lately, which relates splendidly to what I'm dealing with here lol. Perhaps all those vague ideas will become more clear along the way, perhaps I'll end up doing something I've never thought of before, who knows.
Very much enjoyed reading your story, how brave you are! And you even lived in Spain *faints* :p It really is inspiring. Plus, it's obvious that you're passionate about what you do. Love that!

I know, it's the most frustrating moment, isn't it! Been there as you may gather from my story... What can I say? Keep picking at that wretched shell! Fingers crossed!
BTW, I have this funny feeling that there are SCORES of people now about to fly... Don't you? Soon the skies will be swarming with Wanderer dragons :-)
