It was pretty cool having thunder booming while I talked.

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - Meerie - 09-02-2012

Is Carla well enough to spend homecoming with you guys outside, under the tent?
(taking off her clothes and hugging trees? BigSmile )
hope you have an awesome last day, everyone!

I've talked naked to trees before, but I don't recall if I hugged them.

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - Pupak - 09-02-2012

Hello all,

The day is coming to a close and I've been tuning in to the circle all day from my forest garden. It's been such a joy for me to be able to connect and share. I look forward to receiving the essence of your presentation and time together. I feel connected and more at home within myself and in my connection with the Law of One, thanks to this weekend.

Also thank you for listening to us last night. I wonder how our connection went for you all. A bit strange for us to be on the screen in this way. Peter says he feels he came across a bit high strung and a bit too close to the screen. He says please do get in touch if there were things we said that need clarification. I wish I could hear your feedback!

lots of love to each and to all.

infinite gratitude

Pupak

@Pupak No, he wasn't too close at all. In fact, I feel sorry you guys and Carla from all the people leering super close to the webcam who were constantly futsing with the equipment. BigSmileTongue

Wonderful homecoming! Thank you all for sharing your light!

I hope to continue working with everyone in the service to others and also working through our spiritual / emotional processing so that we can channel our higher selves.

I have pictures from the event, but I don't want to post them publicly. However, if you attended and would like to receive them, please contact me privately.

Love & Light,

David W.

Amazing weekend. Amazing.

Almost forgot to share one of the best/funniest moments for me of the weekend: Someone(can't remember whoBlush) referring to the sleeping 3Ders as muggles. That made me lolBigSmile

This. After having actually been to L/L and spent time with people I didn't even know were such good friends, I'm a bit speechless. Suddenly, silent sources of text on the internet have come to life and become my friends. It's emotionally overwhelming.

Also: I hope Lana actually got that picture of me dubstep dancing like she said she would. Video would have been better, but I suppose I can always do it again.

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - AnUncomplicatedLove - 09-04-2012

Surreal. This weekend exceeded any expectations I had (which were very few as this was my first Homecoming) by leaps and bounds. In a matter of three days I feel I have found a whole gaggle of new friends. It was an incredibly emotional experience, but also so full of wisdom, stories, delectable grub, tons of laughter, and just general silliness. I wouldn't miss it next year for anything in the world... Unless my teleporter arrives, then I can't promise I won't be on Venus with Lana. Tongue

I huge THANK YOU to everyone who came, helped, loved, and shared! I love you all!

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - AnthroHeart - 09-04-2012

Welcome to the forum Sarah. I'm glad you had a great time that exceeded your expectations. I elected not to go. Looks like I missed quite a few festivities.

That would be something to visit Venus in 5th density. It's got to be gorgeous.

The dancing was sweet! Also, the hug orgy. Best part, every year.

I had no clue how emotionally significant Homecoming would be for me. I feel like I have met a completely unique type of family. Something indescribable happens when such a group of people share their open hearts together.

Yes, the outside world disappears for a weekend every year as we experience being in the midst of open hearts. It can be experienced but not described. Austin, it gets even better every year, as these people turn from new friends to old friends to other-selves.

If our concept of Fourth Density is correct, this may be a foretaste of 4D positive.Heart

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - Jim I - 09-05-2012

My words cannot adequately describe the experience of sharing between self and other-self in the green, blue, and indigo rays. Although the red, orange, and yellow rays were well attended and free flowing, to be able to share love, truth, and vision with other-selves made this one of the most pleasant experiences I have had in this incarnation. I am filled with gratitude and humbled by all who were consciously present, whether in person or in spirit. It was a joy to meet old friends in the new physical forms they (this time) chose to take. Thank you for openly sharing your beauty so this wanderer could, for a weekend, feel like they came home.

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - Steppingfeet - 09-05-2012

I get and try to do some interesting things in the course of each calendar year, but Homecoming always stands out as the Incomparable. Nowhere on Earth can I go that has this particular sort of gathering. Which isn’t to say that loving people don’t congregate and generate spectacular experiences elsewhere; just that my philosophical home is the Law of One material, and my kindred souls are those that consider themselves wanderers and/or love this philosophy, and my needed and missed vibration is that emanating from the open heart, and my distortion is towards living in community and unity with others. At Homecoming, these things converge, for however brief a period of time.

Not that I or anyone else is walking around in a frenzied, neurotic, over-charged state of This-is-so-awesome-my-head-is-about-to-explode! The energies flow as naturally as shifting water currents in a lake. The vibe is very laid back and relaxed. It’s just that during the event, you know it’s good. And subsequent to the event, you know the after-taste, in comparison to the non-Homecoming world, is even sweeter.

I noted in a Saturday afternoon conversation that another incredible aspect of that general demographic to which the Law-of-One student belongs is how well the Law of One-seeking individual occupies the entire chakra spectrum. In other spiritually oriented communities and groups, there is sometimes a tendency to emphasize the higher over the lower, and there’s a pretense of seeming purity, of focusing only on those things deemed “spiritual”. Whereas in the context of a Law of One gathering, as is always readily apparent when it happens, the conversation and the activities range from the mundane and profane to the sacred and rarefied. The key of course being that regardless of the level of expression, the center of the energy system is always included, that being the open heart. Love permeates both the seeming lower and higher ends of the spectrum of expression. We laugh together, and feel real together.

Thank you all who attended and literally created the experience! The L/L grounds still reverberate with the love and joy that was pulsing so strongly just a few short days ago.

Some highlights from my own memory banks:

• A touching note from Eddie during Friday’s round robin about the experience of spiritual family, and seeing his general joy to be there, the grounding nature of his presence, and his unique, extensive database of knowledge

• Eccles gift of Law-of-One flash drives to everyone in attendance, another manifestation of his always ongoing generosity

• Nervous, socially awkward people (i.e., wanderers) nevertheless braving the dangers of the group situation.

• Dean’s method of communicating with the higher self using simple yes/no techniques

• Carla being able to see the circle for the first time in two years thanks to connecting her room inside the house to the circle via Skype

• Connecting with Pupak and her husband Peter in the UK for their presentation, the circle reforming around the monitor, sharing energy over a vast distance, and laughing mightily over their marital dynamic.

• An amazing meal whipped up by head chef Fox, not to mention homemade ice cream from another volunteer

• Working with the early arrival volunteers to put the event together and getting some minutes here and there to spend time with them. (THANK YOU Troy, Fox, Lana, Aaron, Ken, Nadja, and Eddie!)

• The first rain in Homecoming history and a stellar evening under the tent Sunday night with some drinks, a monsoon coming down around us, Ken and Sephira (Justlikeyou) on the trumpet and guitar, respectively, the conversation blending into the music and the rain underneath the little points of glowing lights strung around the white tent. PLUS, getting the pleasure of seeing someone who appears all intellect on the forums not only play the guitar and sing, but let loose his dubstep dancing. Thank you, Sephira.

• Meeting in person for the first time Bring4th’s super freakin rad moderator, Austin. Who shares with me both a distortion of afro + the requisite afro-containing headband.

• Meeting Troy for the first time in person, one of the volunteers for the L/L prison ministry. Such a presence of joy Troy is.

• Seeing two good friends deeply in love being together in the physical for their first time that week; giggling together, stealing away together, smiling and becoming the relationship unit.

• Two incredible meals Saturday at Sunday night at nearby restaurants, the Sunday night close enough to walk to as a group.

• Getting some great conversation in with Xise regarding questions of crime & punishment in relation to spirituality.

• Austin’s talk regarding his farm, Lynn’s on taking responsibility (as the rain and thunder began coming in), Ken’s music presentation, Jim’s gripping love story, a unique perspective on Don Elkins I’d never heard from Lee, Diana’s soliciting the group to report on their experience of changes perhaps related to harvest, Jim and Carla connecting to the circle via Skype for their presentations, a truly illuminating cosmogenesis talk offered by Seph (too big for its one-hour britches), and others I unfortunately missed as I had to concern myself with production duties.

• And the moments I could squeeze in here and there to have conversations and share energy with new faces and old. Many other memories of course but I'll cut it off here.

Homecoming is less about content and information, though that certainly has its needed place, and more about the people. Each year those who attend blow my heart open.

Great to see you on here Troy, Sarah, David, and Jim!

: ) GLB

PS: Parsons, unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to connect with you! Regarding nervousness, finding any amount of social confidence has been a long, long road for me. I could barely speak without shaking when first beginning to attend these events in 2001 and 2002. You are way better now then I was then. Like you, though, I am much more comfortable behind the keyboard. Having to do the Intro talk, though basic and easy, causes some amount of suffering. Thanks for not letting those particular distortions not preclude your attendance!

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - Eddie - 09-05-2012

I should point out something else here.

We create beauty at Homecoming; we experience a joy that, in both its kind and its magnitude, is rarely experienced by people on 3D Earth.

We are all connected to each other; what one person perceives, passes outward in waves to all others. Each feels, to some degree, what others feel.

Homecoming is way out at the right end of the bell curve. It skews Humanity's collective experience toward the positive. What we do there makes the human boat more buoyant, floats it a little higher. Our party does spiritual work! It lightens the Human condition.

I got a real short video of the tail end of your dance. I can send it or post it somewhere, if you don't mind. It's about 40mb. I think at least one other person got some video footage too, but I can't remember who that was....

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - kycahi - 09-06-2012

I'm back in San Jose after a week with two families: my own kin and the L/L Research followers and Wanderers. I spent time telling some of the kin about the other family and how it came to be. It's so nice to spend time with so many people talking about so much in common! Two of us were going through a nest of wires and cables to assure the connection with Pupak. One said, "This just looks so third density!" Tongue

You owe yourself at least one visit to this crowd. We are different in a few categories, e.g. age, background, place of birth, yet so alike in respect and love for each other and the rest of the One. We prove that we can be both cool and warm at the same time. CoolAngel

RE: Homecoming 2012 Update Thread - Brittany - 09-06-2012

GLB, you never remember me when it comes to those who volunteered. Is it because I'm over there so often I'm just considered part of the house now? Or were you trying to help me polarize extra positive by serving without being recognized? Tongue
