Check out the NICT magnetosphere simulation, the magnetosphere is red/white hot today and for whatever reason, there is no scientific explanation so far, we can here the sounds of the magnetosphere right here on Earth! Someone on GLP suggests this is like "cosmic energy shearing across suns solar wind. sort of like playing a violin." I actually think that is an excellent description with some decades old plasma physics that will hopefully provide the scientific theory. (Magnetosonic waves basics vs Alfvén wave vs sound wave) I think the mechanics of a violin (and some of this reflected as the sound) actually fits better than the academic chorus, hiss and whistler definitions

Then there's this.........
"When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more...."

Angel

That quote is gold! When I read it it made so much sense.

I've heard the mysterious sound although not as loud. About 2 years ago (in Sydney, Australia) on the night of a lunar eclipse. At about midnight it started....like a road train driving past your house for several hours....our neighbors came out at around 3am to complain about the noise. I've heard it probably a half/dozen times since then. It's a deep, grounding, reverberating sound you can feel in your bones. And it definitely feels like it's coming from deep in the ground. But a couple of times it felt like it was coming from the air!?? Can something in our atmosphere be making the sound for some reason? It's reminiscent of the lightning storms I see here. A massive cloud ball above, lightening brightening it up every minute or so, but absolutely no rain or thunder. And it will go on for hours. Maybe it's not lightening but some other force they are releasing with or without sound.....

Then, out of the blue, a researcher approached them with an explanation. In fact, he had even predicted the noise before he knew they were detecting it. According to Craig Hogan, a physicist at the Fermilab particle physics lab in Batavia, Illinois, GEO600 has stumbled upon the fundamental limit of space-time - the point where space-time stops behaving like the smooth continuum Einstein described and instead dissolves into "grains", just as a newspaper photograph dissolves into dots as you zoom in. "It looks like GEO600 is being buffeted by the microscopic quantum convulsions of space-time," says Hogan.

If this doesn't blow your socks off, then Hogan, who has just been appointed director of Fermilab's Center for Particle Astrophysics, has an even bigger shock in store: "If the GEO600 result is what I suspect it is, then we are all living in a giant cosmic hologram."

Wow the grains comment was especially interesting. For the last few weeks I have been able to see little grain like bits of energy buzzing around everywhere. So exciting.

Yeah I'm starting to be reminded of the "restaurant at the end of the universe" from the "hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" series... Interesting...

Oh my. Wonder what they are. Interesting because I've been seeing exactly what you described. They are positively buzzing! Mmkay now I'm excited too c:

RE: Strange sounds heard worldwide!? - godwide_void - 01-25-2012

I read earlier today on another forum I frequent that a group of Nepalese monks who usually meditate within a cave, actually heard these same sounds while deep within that cave, plus they were not aware that this was a widespread phenomenon either.

Some people are also debating whether these sounds are coming from the Earth, or the sky.

RE: Strange sounds heard worldwide!? - BrownEye - 01-25-2012

I say sky. I bet those monks thought demons were coming lol.

RE: Strange sounds heard worldwide!? - godwide_void - 01-25-2012

Hmm, if it originates from the sky though then how can it be heard inside a cave? DUN-DUN-DUUUN!

And it's all good on the monks end, I'm pretty sure they all come equipped with ancient majickal secret scrollz and deadly Buddha palm attacks to deal with those pesky demons. Tongue

But is it? AFAIK, these are different sounds, therefore different causes. From just these youtube videos, can we actually say it is a phenomenon? Also, something as seemingly out in the open like this, and relatively long lasting in metro areas, would be recorded by more individuals and have been subjected to scientific scrutiny. Yet that has not happened.
However, there is definitely an attempt to link these together and attribute them to paranormal causes and all manner of conspiracies - why is that? Has a single one of these, lacking an explanation, been independently experienced?

RE: Strange sounds heard worldwide!? - godwide_void - 01-25-2012

I'm not sure either; I personally haven't experienced these sounds and what's led me to presume that this is a widespread phenomenon is both how many people are attesting to having experienced it and in the scattered geographical locations they've experienced it at. My attention was only recently brought to this from quite a few threads/posts about this on the GLP forums, and the videos of it too. I also read a few people dismissing these sounds as an apparent hoax, or due to drilling, or some other reason.

Until I actually hear this sound, I won't assume anything concrete on it. I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood where underground drilling wouldn't be a possibility so if it happens here, quite a few people will be alarmed.

From the videos, there seem to be a variety of sounds. Is there a particular one to which you are referring?

Looks like the Alberta one has been proven a hoax:

in this vid, at around 30 mins, David Wilcock says the earth sounds are coming from the underground bases and that they are deliberately being let out in order to scare the population
(seems like my guess about earth farts was not too far away from that after all Tongue)

RE: Strange sounds heard worldwide!? - Parsons - 01-31-2012

Haha I love the half-assed explanation the science guy gave. He says its caused by electromagnetic something or other (which I doubt was the case in all the incidents, especially the *workers in the middle of the woods nowhere near anything that gives off that much electricity). He just says "its normal" and thats that. Even though this has never been heard of before in history that I can find than the past few years. Haha...

Remember that the 'bad guys and girls' have a script for this cycle.
Never heard of the 'Trumpets of the Lord' - see, it's also their prophesy playing out.

this is an interview from Red Ice Radio on this topic:

http://rediceradio.net/radio/2012/RIR-120130-aputney.mp3

summary:

Alex Putney - Strange Sounds Heard Worldwide

Alex Putney is behind the website humanresonance.org. He is also the author of "Lightwater", "Phi" and "Veil of Invisibility". Alex, currently in La Maná, Ecuador, is with us to discuss the recent worldwide phenomena of strange sounds. Alex argues that these sounds are due to increased solar activity and resonance changes related to infrasound standing waves that we are now experiencing at an increasing rate. A few of the videos are likely copy cats and others might be intended to muddy the waters but underneathe Alex says, there is a real phenomena, which more and more people are experiencing. Alex also stresses that these changes are positive. It's not the apocalypse or the end of the world. In November 2003, the last time an unprecedented X-class solar flare erupted a deep low thumping sound was recorded and reported in Seattle. We'll listen to and discuss this clip. Also, Alex tells us about piezoelectric fires in Vietnam and his own sighting of a resonant plasma craft in the skies above La Maná in Ecuador.
