There has been a swarm of small quakes in Germany lately. I'm not sure of the quake history of this region. But there sure has been a lot of them.

I'd say there is a significant increase in activity of 5.0 or greater in the past few years, considering the average since 1900 has been around 1500. If an upward trend develops or simply maintains, after a couple of years there may be some cause for investigation.
This is another particular issue I have with prophetic information regarding...anything. It's never smart to give up a striving for objective observation, despite what you think is going to happen in 2012 or any other year. Saying that appropriate analysis is inappropriate because a prophecised date is incoming can lead down a dangerous road in my eyes.

Not in Germany, but apparently they were felt in Eastern Germany. The epicenter was in Czechoslovakia.
