The WHO doesn’t have that kind of authority. It has never had that kind of authority. All it can do is make suggestions…its up to the country (or countries) in question as to whether or not to adopt those suggestions.

Really...can you name incidences? Even down here in Texas, the decision to close a school last week was local one. Its since opened back up as of last Tuesday.

An explanation of W.H.O. procedures. The language is plain...WHO will advise, recommend, provide guidelines ect... Nowhere does the language even remotely suggest any type of forced compliance. The WHO doesn't have that authority. Nor any way of enforcing their edicts on any country.

All governments have Response Team planning. Would you rather each government blithely ignore possible possible emergencies and just whip something up...with usually disastrous results.... on the fly?
That said...this entire line of discussion is tending towards the internet driven conspiracy mindset. Which I try to stay out of.

Right but fear is in peoples lives everyday considering the economy. So no matter what people will have to make a stand and face it and realize that its really just an illusion. Its part of spiritual growth. We want people to wake up and be more open minded and not fear,but polarize towards STO at the same time. Not an easy task I agree

I think this is expected. First virus are natural. Second, all media is unnecessary paranoia. I don't have any fear from this, nor I recommended to lose our time with this hype.
Even if it comes to a pandemic, it is a flu. Like the normal flu, it can always kill, but only if it is our time. So, no worries.
There is plenty of nice things to do on Earth: serving others, observe the beauties of the planet, self-expression, sharing, having fun time with our close ones...
