More opportunities, more enjoyment, more love, more light, more friendship, more fun. You could live the rest of your life in an egoless state and you wouldn't lose a thing from any viewpoint except the ego's. Ego here meaning I want, I need, I did this and that, I'm this or that. Not meaning the harmless and unassuming sense of I. I think I could live with that especially since I am being bombarded with yellow-ray ego issues lately and it sometimes gets a bit too much, ... but then it all serves a purpose and it is all in preparation for the big event, isn't it? All is as should be. RE: 2006.02.05 Melodies of Fire & Love - AppleSeed - 02-03-2011 (02-02-2011, 03:18 AM)peregrine Wrote:(02-01-2011, 03:43 PM)AppleSeed Wrote: Thanks for clarifying! I think it's possible to a degree, so the degree in itself may be seen as a disqualification... I think I meant that the disburdening can be staggered, if all these things don't line up at once (uuhh... in linear time...) Years ago I was helped by a gifted psychic with some physical pain, but didn't really balance the whole issue until months later. Probably what that means is that the physical pain was no longer needed once the issue was brought out in the open, even though the 'work' wasn't done yet. I mean, if I understand right, it is about likening these layers to our ego personality traits. Do we really have to get rid of everything?Well, there may be a few sub-onions... I think the point of peeling the onion layers is getting through to the core, which isn't really onion anymore. It may still have some essence of onion, but it usually doesn't make you cry... Now, why am I getting hungry? RE: 2006.02.05 Melodies of Fire & Love - Meerie - 02-04-2011 (02-03-2011, 01:19 PM)AppleSeed Wrote: Well, there may be a few sub-onions... Haha, AppleSeed, I like that... but then I have always liked onions and they never make me cry, not matter how many I peel. Btw, have you ever tasted French onion soup? with white wine, a piece of baguette and cheese on top and bake in the oven... yummy! Haven't had that since I was a kid, but I like onions in practically any form, even though they do make me cry! |
