I (administrator for L/L Research) will begin printing up the submissions around January 10th, at which time I will insert them into some sort of decorative binder yet to be purchased and present the binder containing your letters and mine to Jim and Carla on the morning of the 15th.
I know that both Carla and Jim will be absolutely elated to receive this sort of gift. As it is now stands, they are uplifted with feelings of joy and fulfillment by the occasional note expressing gratitude for their life’s work and sacrifice, so to receive a collection in this manner will be a blessing of great strength. The gift will also have the purpose of bolstering Carla’s vital energy before her second major spine surgery in less than a year that will likely be scheduled this winter. (Doctors have told her that if does not have her lower spine operated on she will lose completely her already limited ability to walk. How she keeps on ticking is beyond me.)
If you are interested, there are two ways to submit your letter.
1) You can post it to this thread. Please keep this thread reserved strictly for the posting of your thank you letter. No discussion please.
2) You can email contact@llresearch.org.
Few of you may know other Law of One readers, but if you do, please inform anyone you know who has benefited from this material of the possibility of adding their contribution as a gift to Jim and Carla McCarty.

I’m writing to express my profound gratitude to you Carla and Jim, (as well as to Don and Ra of course) for what you have contributed to my life experience. There are a number of components to what all has happened and how your work with the Ra Material has affected my life, but I will try to relate it to you being as brief as I can. Here’s how it unfolded for me: Sometime around 1982 I got a psychic reading on a whim and went in more for fun than as anything serious. As soon as she went into trance her face lit up and she gave me this very warm greeting, as if from very close family that I had been away from for a very long time. She said how great it was for “us” to see me again and that they were so glad that I was finally re-connecting with them. Then the tone began to change to more of: “You are here on a mission and need to get busy!” I never did get the information I came for; the past lives or Spirit Guides that friends had received, but I did get a wake up call. She said I was working with the “Council” that had greeted me and I asked how I could re-connect with them again, she said: “focus on the Ra vibration”. This was the first I had heard of Ra except for Egyptian history. I left the reading feeling a little confused about it all. She only asked me to pay what I thought it was worth.
Some time in the next year or two I “just happened” to see an ad in New Age magazine classifieds for the Ra Material. I thought: “Hey there’s that Ra she mentioned.” The ad said something like: “Read our book, if you like it send what you think its worth, if not send it back.” This seemed like a no risk proposal and I felt compelled to read it either way. When I started reading it I kept saying over and over: “That’s what I’ve always thought.” and “This is so much of the Belief System that I thought I had come up with on my own. and “A Wanderer! That explains a lot!” I could not put the book down. I ordered all of the other books and gave away numerous copies of the first book to any one with the slightest interest; and I still do. Your work helped to validate and confirm what I had felt all of my life: “The Law of One”. In addition to the psychic reading and your books, I had a dream that, to me, was an absolute conformation of my connection to the Ra vibration.
The dream took place in the back yard of the house I was living in, in S. Calif. This was in a densely populated urban neighborhood and I was standing out back looking up at the night sky filled with more stars than the desert on a clear night. (real life had little or no stars there). I stood there looking straight up, in complete awe, mouth open, watching as the stars began to move and their many colors brightened. I realized it was a show of how much life there is “out there” and then I was totally consumed by an overwhelming feeling of Love. My girl friend who was sleeping next to me in the house appeared next to me in the yard (still looking asleep) and I kept asking her “Can you feel the Love!? Can you feel the Love!? I then said “They won’t let us get hurt!” and grabbed her in a hug and leaned over to fall into the planters in the yard. We missed everything and landed on the softest cushion of air, all in slow motion. At some point I noticed far off in the distance over the many roof tops in the urban glow, there was an all black large flying triangle, sort of a large wing shaped object coming our way. I quickly had a deep sense of dread, that this was something bad, and we ran inside. I immediately woke up to the sounds of some clatter in the back yard in real life, but was too freaked out to go out and look. My thoughts were consumed by the feelings of Love and the good parts of the dream for a very long time. When I woke up I also realized I was as stiff as a board, turned corner to corner in the bed and my mouth was totally dry and wide open. I’d never slept like that before. Then I had a revelation! I remembered that Carla had to be aligned to a very specific degree on the compass to make contact with Ra. I ran to find a compass and sure enough; the way that I was laying so stiff, corner to corner in the bed, was the exact degree N by NE that Carla had to be aligned. That combined with my other connections to Ra removed any doubt that the Ra connection you had might not be a genuine contact with other Beings of Love and Light.
The work you have done and continue to do is a HUGE positive force in my life and in the lives of countless others that you will never hear from. I have felt a deep connection to you and your work for well over 25 years and this is the first time I have tried to share with you how you have affected me and also my first attempt to share the depth of my gratitude with you. Words don’t really work, but know that I will be forever grateful for what you do. I might still be “asleep” without your work to help bring about my “wake up call”. Sure I still “nod-out” in life frequently, but you have given me a core of “Awakeness!” that will always be with me!

I am beyond grateful for the resonating tone in messages from mostly Ra and in minor tones from the other channel sessions. The two of you are truly an inspiration and a call for deeper thinking.
It is difficult at times to remember the path to where I have arrived now. The only guideposts I notice are the ones that make my mind tremble with resonating frequencies. From the first pages of The Law of One, I intuitively understood the power of those words to this mind. I will forever see this guide post no matter the clouds of vision. Due to the unique insights offered I was forced to read it very slowly forcing comprehension to expand the mind once more.
You are a gift to us all that will forever continue giving so long as this density vibrates.

As countless as the grains of sand are the times that a reading of an L/L Research transcript has uplifted my spirit and broadened the perspective of my mind.
Each word that is so beautifully woven pierces through the veil and leaves me feeling like my understanding has grown just a little more towards the light of truth which i continually seek.
I honestly cannot thank you both enough for the years of selfless service you have so generously offered to the world.
I still get tingles of excitement every time that I see a new transcript has been posted.
No matter how low I go on the roller coaster of life I know that your archive of material is there just waiting to lift me back high into the sky.
If to serve one is to serve all than I just want you both to know that you have been of tremendous service on my path of awakening and staying awake to love.
A large portion of the poetry I share is merely me reflecting back what I have been able to grasp from reading and living the Law of One.

I first read your ad in the mid-'80's in the East-West journal or maybe New Age magazine. I was intrigued immediately by your message and I wrote you right away for a copy of "The Ra Material, An Ancient Astronaut Speaks" which you so very generously sent without charge. My partner and I read it as if ever-starved for the most expansive information we'd seen on this planet. I have truly never left its side since.
I've purchased many more copies of "The Law of One" since then (even from Amazon lately, to be sure they continue to advertise/carry it) and have passed copies on to those I sense might hear or be awakened by it. I have copies of all of your other publications as well, including all the newsletters since #1, and I continue to expand my sense of self through those words as well as my own meditative states. I continue to support your endless effort as well to donate books to prisoners. I'm certain their understanding of the chosen inner experience while incarcerated will be affected by Ra's soul-awakening influence. I consider your concerted dedication to share this incomparable work to be one of disseminating the voice of the most powerful transcendent intelligence blessing our planet today. I appreciate your efforts so much.
My father read "The Law of One", long before he died, and understood its essence immediately. This also helped to enhance our historically-distant relationship in so many ways; I'm very grateful for sensing so much more about his quiet, reflective, open-hearted nature once I saw how he innately understood Ra's sharing. I believe that he was a wanderer as well and that explains much more to me about his life. I have given a copy of the book to my sister, my mother, my oldest son and will do so with my youngest son as well. I would provide everyone in the world with a copy if I could.
My best friend knew of and had also read the Ra volumes before we met in the late '90's. It has to have been THE highlight of both of our lives to discover that shared joy together, that we both knew the books on our own and happened to finally meet up with someone else who knew them too! It continues to be the underlying foundation of how we each relate to our own lives and other events taking place in the world. When we share a weekly walk there is almost always a mention of Ra at least once somewhere in our talk. Ra's words assist us in accepting the world as it is: a learning ground and a catalyst for our continued spiritual growth.
I appreciate more than I can express here that your channeled material about wanderers and the nature of our spiritual evolution has been deeply ingested by my greater being and has, ultimately, over the last quarter of a century, birthed a completely new life for me, or at least a fuller realization of the actual life I experience. It is with the utmost gratitude and heartfelt appreciation that I thank each of you and all those that support your tireless efforts toward your organization of love, light and service to all. What follows is my story with no embellishments and no reenactments.
Almost exactly two years ago, I was steeped deeply in my own personal "dark night of the soul". The collapse of the financial institutions in mid to late 2008 snapped me out of my "slumber" as I frantically tried to make sense of this situation. None of it made any sense to me, and I couldn't understand how it made sense to others. I'll spare the details, but suffice it to say I knew the conventional channels of the media were simply not revealing what was really happening. It wasn't long before I was actively reading "alternative news" sources and actively participating on several conspiracy-theory based forums. For 5 months, I was absolutely driven to get to the bottom of the financial meltdown. Outside of working, there wasn't anything else I wanted to do but get to the bottom of this "mystery". Despite my best efforts, every story I followed always hit an unsatisfying dead-end.
At the height of my curiosity (and deep frustration), I ran across a new topic on a conspiracy theory board, abovetopsecret.com, that was started by an individual who went by the handle "hidden_hand". He stated he was a member of one of the 13 mysterious family "bloodlines" and that he was obligated to answer the forum member's most pressing questions if he was allowed to. What followed was a remarkable Q&A exchange unlike anything I had ever seen before. I read, and re-read the entire thread many times trying to absorb what was written. I tell you this story, because within this thread, a couple of posters commented that what hidden_hand was saying sounded a lot like the "Ra Material".
Being the ultimate skeptic at the time, and unsure who or what to believe any more, it took me about two weeks until finally I Googled "The Ra Material" and so the story begins...
You can imagine my surprise and astonishment as I began to read the first few sessions. I was a 40-year old non-denominational agnostic through-and-through. I certainly considered myself quite wise to the world. I had studied all types of religion and philosophy, buying wholly into none. I knew there was "something" out there, but I was quite clear that no person, religion or philosophy that I was aware of knew precisely what that "something" was.
As I began to read the material I had to go very slowly at first, and often re-read entire sessions to grasp even the smallest portion of what was being said. As I began to absorb some of the earlier sessions I soon noticed that I was getting goosebumps frequently as I read certain passages. The goosebumps increased as I continued to read.
I'll never forget the most profound moment of my life during the session where Don asked Ra to offer some practices and exercises to help the readers understand the Law of One. When Ra said "gaze at others and see the Creator, gaze in the mirror and see the Creator, gaze into creation and see the Creator", I stopped immediately filled with goosebumps and closed my eyes. I began to wonder "could this be right, could this be true" as every cell of my being was saying "Yes, yes, yes". I paused in reflection, and it was in this moment that something in me shifted so deeply it was unmistakable. It was in this moment I knew without a doubt that I had finally found some undeniable and profound truth and what a glorious and uplifting moment it was for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Needless to say, every single moment I had for an entire week, I was reading these sessions. My productivity at work plummeted to an all-time low. I ordered pizza or anything that I could get delivered every night for dinner. Every free moment at work I was reading more. I think I even skipped a few showers as I considered it a "waste of precious time" during this period. I read slowly and carefully, non-stop for 7 days. My brain needed a rest for a couple days, then I read it from start to finish all over again. Truly an amazing two-week experience. I was in sheer joy the entire time. Despite only understanding a fraction of what I had read, I finally knew I had found what I had been seeking all my life and it felt wonderful to know.
I can say without hesitation that reading the "Law of One" was my very first deeply moving and transformational spiritual experience. I've since devoured all the Seth Material, Elias, Abraham, Bashar, Saint Germain "I AM Discourses", Orin & DaBen books through Sanaya Roman, and hundreds more books, CDs, videos, websites, etc. along the way. All of it is wonderful, but my fondest memories still lie with the beginnings of my awakening with the "Law of One".
I ordered all the books weeks later, read those from beginning to end and I've re-read the material twice more in the last 18 months. And I plan to read it again and again, at least once a year, understanding a little bit more each time I do.
I hope you enjoyed my story of awakening and I hope you all know just how important the work you have shared with the world has been to me personally. It changed my life for the better in an instant, and I'm so very grateful to all of you for it.
I wish you all the greatest joy, health, peace, happiness and success as you continue your service to others and I hold my highest vision for each of you knowing you've all reached infinitely beyond your wildest dreams of bliss in this glorious now moment of love and light.

In 1999, I had spent decades of my life seeking spiritually. I had spent nearly a decade teaching what I had come to understand. But, there were still things missing, loose ends. Then a friend told me about the Ra Material. At that time it was available on a website as a text file. I devoured the 1st four books. What was in those books put words to concepts I had been trying to explain for years. It was soon after that I became aware that a set of 5 books was available.
Since then I have bought and given away many copies of the set of 5 books and sent more people than I can count to the website.
The work you have done and continue to do is profoundly important. On this anniversary of the "First Contact" I am happy to join with you in celebrating this gift to the world.

We will print up all letters over paper onto which we have created an eye of Ra watermark and place them inside of a binder that we have made from scratch. Thanks to friends in the UK, we will also purchase some flowers for Carla and Jim.
The binder and flowers will be presented to Jim and Carla at the 8:00 pm (eastern) Saturday Public Meditation.
So far, fifity-two letters have arrived at the L/L inbox. That number does not include the posts made to this thread. So Carla and Jim will have a lot of love to soak in when they are able to sit down with your words.
We'll take a picture of the binder and post it to this thread when all is said and done.

I can never adequately express my gratitude to Carla, Jim and Don for helping to bring so many vitally important messages from Ra to our planet. I knew nothing of channeling (many years ago) when the first Law of One book "jumped into my hands" in the home of my friend- who had no idea where the book had come from. I couldn't put it down and it clarified so many things for both me and for my husband. The messages came when they were needed and helped us so much. I greatly admire Carla and Jim for their humility and honesty. They opened their hearts to the readers of the books. They offered their "ALL" to us in spite of the shock and pain that they felt after losing Don. They have been an example , showing us how to choose honesty and LOVE, even in very difficult circumstances. There was a time when both me and my husband were facing difficult health challenges and Carla was very supportive and helpful. Even though my path has never brought me to meet Carla and Jim in person, I still count them among my trusted friends. They are very good people who have made and continue to make a positive difference in many people's lives.

Dear Carla, Jim, and Don,
If asked to name the single greatest gift of my adult life, it would certainly be the Law of One books and the veil-penetrating, heart-opening, wisdom-bestowing principles so powerfully communicated in their pages.
This material’s impact on my incarnation cannot be overestimated. The moment my eyes fell on those words I was changed. Altered. Transformed. And set upon a different course. One which I continue to walk to this day, eleven years later.
Had I not encountered this material, I would be orbiting a less awesome and pure philosophy, my confusion would be greater (yes, that is possible!), I likely would not have met so many of the amazing soul friends that now grace my world, and I would exist in a parallel universe with less understanding and hope.
This material has been the key to framing life in such a way that I can place myself in a context of an intelligent universe that is not only working for me, but is none other than me. By turning that key I have discovered riches and treasures beyond description. And the journey continues.
I think the greatest metaphysically oriented historian – versed in both the orthodox and unorthodox narrative of our third-density history – would have difficulty putting into perspective the significance of what you three accomplished.
The stars aligned when you came together. Your effort and your sacrifice will redound until the end of time and, much like the confluence of the four entities who formed the Beatles, such a configuration may never again occur, though these fingers will forever remain crossed. : )
With all my heart I thank you for so singular a gift, both in the form of the Ra contact and the decades of living the Law of One.

I would like to thank everyone who wrote in to express their appreciation to Carla and to me for helping to bring the Law of One information through in the contact with those of Ra. It was most gratifying to read how people came in contact with the information, what it has meant to their lives as seekers of truth, and how it has helped many to find their own way of being of service to others. It was also most humbling to me to know that so many of you feel that your lives changed for the better after reading and practicing the Law of One.
As many of you know I run a small lawn service here in Louisville, KY. Mostly I cut grass, mulch leaves, trim hedges, and do all kinds of odd jobs for my customers. The work is long, hot, and dirty, but in those moments when I wonder what I am doing all this for I will think of all of your kind and loving words of appreciation and be inspired to continue in the great work which we all share with each other, no matter what form it may take, as long as love and light are at the heart of it. Thank you all so much for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

It is hard for me to express the ammount of love that i have for you people. Carla, Jim and Don. I have only recently discovered the Law of One and the Ra material. I am at a fairly young age, in fact i turned 21 just today! It has been only a few months since i stumbled upon this great source of knowledge and light. It took me 20 years to get ready for this kind of information, and im gratefull. It is hard for me to believe that i found these forums, i never knew this kind of thing existed. I would also like to thank my mother for "preparing" me throughout the past years for this blast of light.

Dear Carla and Jim,
I hope you know already how much the LOO material has meant to me, and how grateful I am for it. Now I salute the years of excellent attitudes and labors, without judgment, you have lived in support of the information. As others said, you set the example for living the One way--in humble generosity.
You started by printing the Law of One and earlier and later books and making them available to those who have need. You also attracted a compatible team of supporters who didn't just help out with that work, they added and continue to enhance this online presence that so well reflects your values. This acceptance of the love that goes in your direction is further modeling of life in the One.
May you continue in this style long enough to see the difference you are making on the planet. IMO another ten years at the most, not 30.

There appears to be a great deal of synchronicity around these communications. I wonder if Ra was aware of this ahead of time? Or if it was an unforeseen consequence? Any ideas?
