"triggering intuition"... Hmmmm... Perhaps intuition is the label the mind gives to thoughts which it can't place the source to. (which have no apparent source) RE: The act of eating is a service... - TheFifty9Sound - 05-27-2012 Our intuition is the same as that which causes the Monarch Butterfly to fly south in autumn and north in spring. Exactly. See? We can't place the source of why. Equals "intuition" RE: The act of eating is a service... - BrownEye - 05-27-2012 Quote:Any behavior is instinctive if it is performed without being based upon prior experience, that is, in the absence of learning and is therefore an expression of innate biological factors. Quote:The intuition is the pattern-matching process that quickly suggests feasible courses of action. Your intuition could tell you what the source is. ![]() RE: The act of eating is a service... - Tango - 05-27-2012 (05-27-2012, 11:24 AM)Patrick Wrote: The spirit, being a shuttle, brings knowledge and yes it has to pass through our mind before we become aware of it. It basically confirms what I felt intuition was, but also confirms that I did a poor job of putting it into words. ![]() RE: The act of eating is a service... - Plenum - 05-28-2012 I think a lot of people are pretending. This is a good example but not quite accurate, in my thinking. What the butterfly does is access memory via field of consciousness. Every form or being has a field of consciousness which can interact with other fields. The butterfly may not have lived this experience of migration yet, but its consciousness has, and the interaction of that consciousness with the other fields involved in the process all come together to get the being to where it is designed to be. This is the perfect definition of the human as well. These fields are all around us everywhere we go, and there are so many interactions that most go unrealized. Many are instinctual. Many are intuitive, the difference being that intuition is followed by choice where instinct is following a combination of physical and consciousness makeup. RE: Anything goes... (formerly act of eating thread) - BrownEye - 05-30-2012 One prerequisite for such an intuitive understanding of the soul is the desire to achieve it. If the desire is strong enough, then you will be automatically led to experiences that will result in vivid, unmistakable subjective knowledge. Seth Session 527 |
