Depends on the plant, if it's murderous, yeah, why not? Return the feeling, see if it garnishes some awareness of its essential being from it's own nature. If it survives the fire, even better, we found a plant that thrives on its weakness, sort of a win-win in regards to a compound handling atypical catalyst well.
Jk. But I do see a way. Burning Cannabis leaves with high intensity UV (solar) rays (gentle fire) produces a sun-burn effect causing over-production of THC. Fire obviously has it's uses even on plant life.
Basically what Karma and the Law of Attraction insinuates is that everything done will either come back to you in the form of karma, or will come back to you because you dishes it out. The Elite on our planet will reincarnate on another 3D planet and that time they'll be the one's being silences, snuffed out, kept in the dark, without any clue as to why.
I personally want that to end here. Alchemy? Is it a solution? I don't know. But if this madness ensues from Left/Right mentalities and energies, I want to find a way to make it so the suffering is lesser. I understand it will never end, but I have, much qualms with the intensity of it available here on this planet and all.
As I said, innate issues with the design of the Reality I find myself in. I won't force it, but there are A LOT who feel just as I do. Too much suffering, something needs to be done, if the Universe wants to posit it's laws and means of design and manifestation as its reasons for this suffering, then it needs to take a good hard look in the mirror and see it doesn't like itself.
And what should one do when they do not like themselves?
I'm looking to give an answer. To show another way. If it does not exist, I'm wasting my time on this sphere, immensely. If it's not worthwhile maybe I should leave incarnation for a bit, approach the problem from a more knowledgable perspective than formulate an incarnation to bring forth that knowledge from the 'lower' realms to incite change in the higher. If not using the higher in the first place as it were.
It's hard for me sometimes, here. I'm tired. Sick and Tired of the excuses everyone lays down before me. 'Life isn't fair', 'This is how it is'.
Life is Fair. Humanity ruined that.
This isn't how it is. By Design, there is more hidden than meets the eye.
I just feel, something is...Wrong. Maybe, it's just me who's wrong...

I think Aion's point is you can use virtually any tool for virtually any task. You could use a spoon to hammer a nail into wood. Or you could just eat some soup with it and leave that job to a hammer.
Devil's advocacy aside, do you see what he is getting at? 'Watering' a plant with fire is such a perfect example. You could jury rig some crazy Rube Goldberg machine to water a plant with fire on a technicality. Or you just water the damn plant. Really, the end result is what you should be asking yourself what you want to do: do you want to water plants, or burn them down?
Every young man has fantasized about using the proverbial 'fire' to kill the mythical 'bad guy' or 'zombie'. But that truly is a myth: there are no bad guys or zombies. It would just be another person; another fractal of the Infinite One. So you can defeat strawmen in your mind with fire all you want; but really, what it sounds like you want to see things grow with water.

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. To a mind/body/spirit complex which is starving, the appropriate response is the feeding of the body. You may extrapolate from this.
On the other hand, however, you are correct in your assumption that the green ray response is not as refined as that which has been imbued with wisdom. This wisdom enables the entity to appreciate its contributions to the planetary consciousness by the quality of its being without regard to activity or behavior which expects results upon visible planes.

TTP, I think you're making it all very complicated like there is no solution that comes obviously, but for myself, I think the most obvious answer is often the right one.
The world needs love, compassion, caring, family and brotherhood. These are the things that help to heal the heart of the planet. The problem with the structure is that these things are absent. If they were present the structure would definitely not be the same, so why not start with that is obvious rather than going to the moon and back trying to create a 'new' way? Why reinvent the wheel?
And no, I'm not challenging your methods or trying to negate you, I am genuinely just curious about how it all works out in your head.
